This was a great episode! You have given my heart hope of one day finding the DYNASTY 'Straight Jacket'. In 2019, I was fortunate enough to do the ever knowing ALIVE II flip, and grabbed a misprint in the wild for the normal used vinyl asking price. Looking forward to the planets lining up again. They always do. Magic happens when collecting, and that is the fun of it. You guys make KISS collecting fun. Thank you for all you do. Take care.

What a great episode, gentlemen!!!! As a still novice collector, I always learn so much from you guys and the guests you have on the show; I really appreciate all you guys do!! On another note, it was great meeting you, Jason, at Mad Monster Party a couple of weeks ago in Concord, NC. Thanks for chatting with me for a few minutes in the waiting room for Peter Criss autograph session. We spoke briefly about press kits, the KISS Army kits and the two podcast episodes about those topics. I still have so many questions about the press kits and Army kits as a beginner collector. Would love to get another chance to chat with you about it. Anyways. Thanks again for all you guys do. Love the show!! All the best, gentlemen, matty c.

I have an unopened copy of Greatest KISS from KISSTERIA, I never weighed it just held the top and bottom center so I have the vinyl from moving and shake it back and forth and something is in there sliding back and forth, got to figure it's the insert. Great episode guys, so much info and now my "will never have it" list has grown LOL
@uskissvinylreferencepage3388 Жыл бұрын
Paul,if you have the Kissteria exclusive for You Wanted Best sealed, that could give you a comparison to GK. It's not an exact science though, not all records will weigh the same. YWTB is the closest package to being the same as GK

Great show! I was following along with my KMW vol 3 book. I can’t imagine much of any Western music was available in Iran after the 1979 revolution, surely they destroyed it all. Thanks for posting that Top 4 Gene solo label pic. 🤟

Just discovered the show and enjoyed it from A to Z. Cudos to you guys. As for the French Alive!, there are 4 versions (minus the possible misprints and mispresses). As far as I know, the 1976 French Alive! Was only 1 000 pieces … as well as Destroyer. Found mine in the wild for 6€ 😉 and saw 5 the last 2 years. Pretty rare but not that rare 😉

Hey great show as usual... I have a lot of Taiwanese vinyl, what do you guys think about the Taiwan solo album with Paul on one side and Ace on the other side? I'm sure you guys have seen it before, but I think it's pretty rare. It's a great piece I think...

Hello Jason, good information again on this episode. But I have a question. With all your knowledge about collectibles etc of Kiss is my question what the worth is of a original KISS MTV unplugged on DVD from the 90th’s? You don’t see it on eBay and so on. I see your reaction. Greetings from the Netherlands..

I bought a KISS 7" back in the late 80's or early 90's. It's a 70's 7". On one side the label is blank missing the song title and such.

Hey guys great show as usual, I know im late on the comments for this, but could it be possibly that someone bought the red box japanese originals on what day; the 21st? And then sold it to someone else for the best offer? So instead of thinking there were 2 sold almost back to back, maybe it was the same piece and whoever bought it on the 21st flipped it for whatever the best offer was, so making it only one copy instead of there being 2 copies. So a little rarer then what we thought? Idk that could be what happened there. Just a thought. Lol I've watched this episode before when it first aired and leaving this comment 20 years later ha ha

Does anyone know how many 45th anniversary Dressed to Kill LPs were damaged out of the 300 produced?
@elway2k Жыл бұрын
I know it's probably not too rare, or should be on any top 20 list, but what was the story regarding the Off the Soundboard Tokyo from Europe? I know there was a white version with the different S's (traditional), on the Kiss logo. Basically some of the White European LPs came with the American logo instead of the German.

Maybe it’s the same records being sold back and forth to collectors and it appears there’s an abundance of them? I know in other collecting realms this is a reality.

I think the Iran Gene should be number one, it being the year before the Islamic Revolution, and any found copies were probably destroyed and a person could probably be whipped and punished for owning one.
