Thanks SOOOO much sir. I was going through it. I was just guided to read Isaiah 9:6, because I read it to a Jew before but he had the same translation that Jews now read that say the names are not for the Messiah, but for YHWH God. It read so differently. I was like how is this possible? God lead me here and you really broke it down using the Jews own original English translations and their own commentaries. Thank you so much, I can't say it enough because I know Jesus saved me from sin and from horrible things in my life through His Spirit as the Father heard my prayers. God bless.

That's a really good explanation of the "prophetic past tense"- it's from the perspective of what was in the vision. The Septuagint (or Greek canonical text) for the prophet Isaiah predates the Church by centuries and takes readings that would not be assumed from the perspective of Christians (such as ch 25) but nevertheless it puts these verses in the aorist- sort of a generic "at some time" because it is known as prophecy.

According to the tradition of the sages of Israel, Hezekiah was supposed to be the Messiah, and Sennacherib, Gog, but because King Hezekiah did not thank God with applause and singing and psalms, after the fall of Sennacherib and Assyria, Hezekiah in the end was not the King Messiah. This is not a double prophecy, but a prophecy that was supposed to be fulfilled in Hezekiah, but for the reasons I mentioned, these prophecies will be fulfilled in the future, in the eschatological Messiah King, but still, the prophecies were fulfilled, at least partially, in the time of King Hezekiah.

Kjv authors mistranslated the Hebrew word kaari - like a lion to "pierced" to draw the false narrative that Jesus was crucified in the Psalms passage. Christians literally associate Jesus with every prophetic verse in the old testament even though it mentions nothing about Jesus Christ. They literally insert Jesus everywhere and claim everything that was written in the Tanak is about Jesus. Even in Iasiah with the suffering servant. It mentioned Jacob Israel is the suffering servant but Christians say it was Jesus who was the servant . They don't even read the Bible properly and they deliberately change the narrative and the words to perpetuate a false doctrine. What about oral Torah? The Christian interpretation of the old Testament fares better than the Rabbinical Judaism's claim for legitimacy of the oral Torah. The destruction of the second Temple is the end of Mosaic Judaism. No animal sacrifice has been made in the past 2000 years and even if a Third temple is built, it is unlikely that mosaic law can be reintroduced . The reason is something similar happened in India. The old Vedic religion centered on animal sacrifice ended and vegetable substitutes are made. The present public mood is against animal sacrifices, though it continues in certain pockets. I cannot imagine Jews lining up with animal now for blood sacrifice . Therefore, when you critique Christian interpretation of the old Testament, you must in all fairness address your interpretation of the same to suit your claim for the legitimacy of the oral law.
