Nice to hear that. I don't mean to degrade any language. But not all south Indians have the same accent. Here, it is a tamilian speaking English with tamil accent. The fact is that, most of the original BENGALOORIAN's or for that matter even whole lot of KANNADIGA's have unique and the best English diction and accent. Though a persons' accent changes according to region and schooling, most people here speak English fluently and with right pronunciation.

If anyone wants to work as IAS,IPS, IRS, IFS, i think it should not be dependent on the structure of salary, it's a service to the nation. It should be from heart. You can never find a real CTC of an IAS officer. Can you even imagine the rent of a bungalow, cost of body guards, cars, the AURA of an IAS etc. which only IAS, IPS officer gets, you can help common people directly, your family in different ways. Just imagine the aura of the place, when an IAS/IPS officer arrives and the level of respect he/she gets, which NONE other officer gets. IAS is IAS, nothing can beat it.

I think you're highly capable in other fields, that's why you're trying to under rate UPSC, but still stucked with it. I am private employee... We don't have any power. But once we reach certain level, we also get house to stay, we don't need police escort and all... A cook and a maid is enough for us... There is peace... There is no interference of political ppl or I need not call anybody as Sir. I can be bold while talking to my seniors... There would be no continuous behaviour correction from seniors, unlike it's in govt sector. (You can't put hands in your pocket while talkinh, you can't wear sunglass while talking to seniors and all) Enjoy your life IAS ppl. You are doing great job but don't be a corrupt one pls... Some years back I met one police inspector, he said....if I don't oblige, they will transfer me...and new officer takes my place, if he doesn't oblige, they will again transfer, again new office takes his place, and even if he doesnt oblige ? So if all ias and ips and government officials are clear in their mind. I'm sure this country will be 10000 times better than all developed countries in world. F or a real aspirant Salary doesn't matter (in terms of motivation)what matter most is whether an officer is capable of bringing change and dynamics during services. Also amaount of relaxatkion period given to an officer during his services so that he/she be capable of giving his time to family ,himself/herself,vacations..these things enhance productivity

Who will become an IAS , if they are not paid well ? Not even dogs ! Yes , power and money is not everything, but it matters a lot ! We spent lot of money , energy and dedication for this exam, and if we don't get the good payment what is the use of it ! Yes serving the people of our nation is the utmost priority , but living a happy and balanced life carry the same weight! We study day and night , and our parents hard earned money are spending in our education and needs, and if we couldn't keep them jolly in their old age , will we really feel satisfied? Obviously not! Without having a power it's hard to govern one district or area (power interms of respect and responsibilities). No one says they need only money and power , everyone is stressing the importance of money and power! Everyone knows that serving the people is primary!

In IT companies if u get placement from a good collage( IIT , NIT ) their "starting "package (1.5 - 5 lakh /month which goes up to 5-10 lakh /month in few years) is more than what an IAS will be getting after 35+ years of service , that's kind of absurd🙏
