Hi, I recently received a pretty big aloe plant that was cut. I proceeded to take off some leaves like one of your video's I then placed it in a bucket water. Now I am concerned if that was the right thing to do, because it already had some little nubs, that I think are roots, I'm just trying to continue it's growth since it is already pretty big. I just found your channel and I love it. Subscribed!! How much they grow every year? How old a plant needs to be to start using the gel? How old they need to be to start giving pups? My plant is 2 years old. No babies yet and it hasn’t grow much.

Thanks for subbing! It depends on the variety of Aloe vera, the barbadensis variety usually give pups in six months and the chinensis variety give pups as early as 2 months after planting. You can use the gel of the plant anytime you want, you don't have to wait for the leaves to grow big.

You should but bags around the flower and put a rubber band at the base of the bag. When the flower is VERY GENTLY shaken like just touch, the seeds will fall out of the seed pods

Wow! Very big and nice aloe vera, mahal yan sa Farmers Cubao. Wish I could grow and make it flower too. Mayroon po bang ibat ibang variety ng aloe? Sa South Korea, malalaki din po ang nabibiling aloe leaf, minsan nakikipadala lang sa mga uuwe just for personal use.

Hi im new to this channel i previously watched your videos of growing alovera from stem and roots. I would like to ask is where should i put it i just planted it. Can it handle direct sunlight already? Or should i put it on a shady spot till some leaves show? And how often should i water it even if it's still stem and root

If the Aloe vera you're growing is used to sunlight then it's ok to place the cuttings in sunlight, but if they're used in shaded areas, just place them in shaded areas. Don't water the cuttings until they start to grow new roots.

I love ur channel. I have a question. Plz respond. I have a aelo vera plant pretty small now. But tips 2 leaves looks like burnt or rotten not sure but they are not that healthy like other leaves. If your Aloe vera is 3 years old already, they'll probably flower this year. :) Also, if you want your aloe vera to grow big, give them healthy soil and water them regularly. It can mean that they are already mature to produce seeds, but sadly, Aloe vera is a sterile plant and can't produce seeds on its own. Flowering also means that the plant is in good condition and in the right environment.

No, Aloe vera is mostly sterile. Sometimes it give seed pods but only when the Aloe vera is old enough.

Yes but you have to provide the nutrients it needed to grow big. If you don't provide nutrients, it will just survive in the sand, but will not grow big.
