It's been one month since the Russian mercernary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was reportedly killed in a plane crash in Russia. Days before his death Prigozhin had been in the Central African Republic where his Wagner Group is in charge of president Faustin-Archange Touadera's security. But since Prigozhin's death there is division in the country over Wagner's presence. DW's Zigoto Tchaya Tchameni reports from Bangui.

The French colonies in the Caribbean had a vote to either leave or stay colonised by France a coupla years ago. They voted to remained colonised. If Haiti was offered the chance to become a colony of France again, what would be the percentage that the yes vote would be? I would say over 90 %.

*Africa* is a good example of the old saying *"The Few Can't Control The Many"* ... there is so many different leaders and people with influence and power that are in *Africa* that it makes it really hard for there to *NOT* be coups... it's a reason why *Central & North Africa* has been having civil wars for hundreds of years now.... when you have a bunch of different people who have small armies behind them and sometimes even large armies they get power hungry and want to have complete control over whichever country they are fighting in at the time. *Africa* has many countries and they all have different leaders that want control. Not to mention that *Africa* in the last 20 years have started to fight back against colonial rule and influence in their continent. The people of *Africa* have been being exploited for their extremely valuable resources for far too long and the people are tired of it... which is why when the people see a leader come out and say they are going to make *Africa* rich and share the wealth with all the people instead of their wealth being stolen from colonial powers while keeping the people in extreme poverty... the people and leaders of *Africa* are kicking out their controlled puppet leaders of colonial powers and are appointing their own leaders who they believe are going to fight for them and that's also why *African* countries and leaders are turning to *Russia & China* in the past 10 years to help them kick out western powers but they will most likely soon find out that *Russia & China* will do the same thing *The West* is doing to them, exploiting them for their resources and minerals.

Russia had no colonies, because it developed all its territory to its economic level, it had more than half of the Russian population in the empire, and even the natives ruled the Russian minority in these places. Germany is more imperialistic in Eastern Europe, because in order to enter the EU they had to sell all the banks to them, so all the money from that part of Europe is in German hands. In addition, most of the companies were bought by the Germans at a low price.

Russia never let the natives of its territories rule, Russia always put Russians as the new oligarchs of that region, that was literally Joseph Stalins entire strategy for ruling, and you best believe Putin is looking to do the same and has done the same in the places under the "federation". Developing your imperial territory to your economic level is something every colonizer does, and it is not an excuse for them colonizing you, why would you give them a pass over that and proceed to ignore the way they brutalize your people? @@markmiiwurdz4016 the yet unexplained, but certainly explicable, aspects of the story are more like: how many of the wagner troops really did participate in the insurrection, and why would they? who in the russian military and intelligence supported them? why did they quit, or rather whose family members were taken hostage by putin's people? what purpose did the delay before killing prigozhin serve? why is there no "if you see this, I am dead" video? was it the purpose of the delay to destroy that first?
