Through history Europe has exposed and treated the African nation with no real care. As someone from Britain I don't take a side with many conflicts as there are 2 sides to a lot of them. The only thing important is people to live and feel safe in their life. If Russia helps the supress rebels and the majority of people in CAR are happy to have them there for safety, then I'd say it is not a bad thing.

Can ARTE stop this kind of reporting. France has been in CAR for the longest, for decades and they cant show anything in terms of development. China partnered with some African countries only recently in mid 2000s and highways and Dams can be seen all over the continent. Bangui which is the capital, looks like a 4th village town of other African countries not "western" ...YES! other African countries and yet CAR has the potential to be or surpass Dubai. If France does not wish to partner in developing CAR and other countries in Africa ,let them move to the side and allow those that are interested proceed to do so.

Trump was never on the side of Russia [he made it clear to Germany] but I admit that i personally have [guess as much as Trump was] mixed feelings when it comes to this kind of situation. I had a little chat with a quite sane Russian who loves God & - in a long way to go to - love his neighbors as himself, we had a completely different perspective on some but not the other. You can't mix people with different fundamental core values [in a spiritual & not material sense] which is true & Central African Rep is an example on how -it seems - that you win the battleground but remember that it was "Charlottesville" that ended your whole "career" here in the US soil - hence it was a fight against a mere worldly matters before the eyes of men.
