A person can simultaneously be direct and empathetic. These tests are clearly an oversimplification to dumb down the hiring process. Smh

The questions in this test feel demeaning and accusatory. For some questions you’d wish to pick both answers, and in other neither answer fits your personality. Most people I know who had to take this test, said that after initial 3 to 5 questions, they have just selected remaining answers at random without reading them. This may be the whole point for employer to see not just what were the answers, but also how quickly they were answered. Employers who utilize these sort of tools, only show that they are more likely to encroach on employees personal space and life. It sets you up for master v servant relationship. It is hilarious that even employers who offer jobs which should remain just that, JOBS (even as independent contractor), use these tests as if they were offering some amazing high salary careers to which one is expected to dedicate themselves entirely and submit to work environment. Closing out candidates who may come in with new and varied ideas that challenge the status quo. This is so dumb, but at least it gives those who invented these tests, something to give them a sense of worth, even if they’ve only made a live of a regular job seeker a bit more degrading than it has already been.
