Congratulations on 5k 🎉 I do a lot of my local yarn shopping at Joann’s because they are the closest in my little area but I love to go hobby lobby. It’s not far but I’ve haven’t felt well this year and trying to take care of momma. I was very blessed to get some furl odyssey hooks before they quit making them but I love the new rose color metal hook they came out with. Maybe one day. Been trying to cut back. That little rag doll kit and hook looks fun but I been on a tight budget. I’ve ordered from Mary maxim and Annie’s in the past. I like the video tutorials since I’m a visual person. Hi Tess I usually have to travel about half an hour-45 minutes to a Hobby Lobby and Walmart to get yarn and hooks etc. sometimes I can find yarn in Ollie’s as well. My favorite places to shop for yarny things on line is pretty much whoever is having the best sales😊. But I do like Premier, Joann’s, We Crochet and Yarnspirations. I really love just yarn Chenelle so i have to go to Premier for that. I try not to use red heart as i think the quality has gone way down hill. but i go to walmart for that. I prefer shopping in person so i can feel the yarn and look at the true colors. but living in a small coastal town in Oregon, my stores ate limited to walmart and joann store. Congratulations on 5k I have shared this video with some of my friends who I’ve been teaching to crochet. Thank you for making this international even though shipping is very extreme. In the uk at least around me there aren’t a lot of yarn shops so I normally go to hobbycraft but recently I went to John Lewis and even though it is quite expensive I like their yarn range. I don’t really shop for yarn online because I like the excitement of walking out the shop with a yarn haul.

In person I have shopped at Michaels as it is a few minutes from home but it has terrible selection. I found a store in the mall with higher end yarn and was going to go there for my next project. I broke my leg and ankle so haven’t been to a store in months. I then learned about Lion Brand website and Mary Maxim. I really liked ordering from lion brand. I think I will be mostly doing online ordering except when I buy from a small independent yarn shop. That kit sounds amazing. I am very new at granny squares
