I just went back and read it and all of that information was really really good and grounded in great theory, especially the idea of singling out certain plays in private rather than in groups. Shame is really hard barrier to accepting responsibility and removing them from a public environment can really help to lower that overall and make a straight headway towards improving as well as maintaining a fun and open space for learning and team dynamics. Edit: If rekkles really wants to dig deep into this then doing some research into counselling and psychology would be a really good idea, at least that which focuses on teaching and team environments, and to be totally honest, I would reccomend that every member of the team spend some time in a counsellors office, since I believe it can be insanely for pretty much useful for everyone, useful even if you think its unneccesary for you personally.

@@AgentKirbyYT Not my comment, you can see the original in the scrim vs NORD esports, but here it is copy pasted! To caedrel: it sounds like there are a few categories of problems in the team at the moment. I hope sharing my experience as a teacher can help you tackle these problems effectively. From what I see from your reactions now, it seems like you don't have a clear path to solving those problems, so you just comment on the most important issues that you see in every game, and trust that your players will internalize your comments to do better in the future. In my experience, this approach overloads students, so they get completely tired, and their ability to absorb and retain information decreases to near zero. You can just see the level of play deteriorate as the session goes into later games. It also feels like the atmosphere becomes quite tense, because there is dissatisfaction. It's actually scientifically proven that learning yield is very, very low in high-stress environments. What works better, is to give students one clear goal to work towards, and to only discuss that goal with them after the exercise. For the coaching, I imagine that would look like this: you start the day by telling the team what you're working on today, comms for example. Make it clear that this is the goal of the scrims. They don't need to hit cs, they don't need to win the games, they don't need to outplay their opponents. This is really important. No pressure to preform perfectly on any aspect of the game, aside from the assignment. Their base levels are good enough that they won't make the game unplayable if they don't focus 100%. Their assignment during that day will be to share as much useful information as possible and make plans together. After every game, the discussion should revolve around what happened with the assignment, nothing else. Baus flashing for a heartsteel stack was not the assignment of the day, so we don't mention it. This method works, because it prevents unnecessary overloading of the brain. I predict your guys will be able to learn more towards the end of the session, and be less fatigued. Not only that, the lessons are easier to internalize, so they will remember what they've learned. Let's say there are three categories of problems. The current method divides lessons during a session equally among the problems, so let's say they get one point each after the first game. Fatigue starts to set in, so every consequent game yields 0.2 point less, for a total of 3 points on every category over 5 games. That's a total of 9 points for the session. Now, for the suggested method, all points go into the same category. Because they are more focused on this category, their brains will more actively engage with learning material about the category. Let's say the effect is 1 extra learning point, so the first game is 4 points. Then the fatigue is weaker because there is a clear goal in mind, so consecutive games lose only 0.3 points instead of 0.6. Now, over 5 games, you get 17 points of learning. Almost double the yield! Working towards a clear goal together also boosts team morale, so you'll find it a more positive experience in general. You can compare games from the same session, and focus on improvement. Better for learning and a more enjoyable experience for everyone. For things like baus' flash: I would tell him in person after the session. Putting people on the spot in front of their peers rarely results in a valuable learning experience, because they need to consider how they look for their peers. Just take him apart, take that out of the equation. He'll react more seriously, you won't get frustrated, and you both walk away with a positive experience. I really hope this message reaches Caedrel, because it seems to me that a change of learning strategy is quite essential in this case. Good luck LR!

@roaking7084
@roaking7084 15 күн бұрын
@@mexivh Honestly? I don't think so. Neme is an unbelievable player, and in a lot of these games you can rely on him to just gap enemy mid. Rekkles currently feels like its impossible to lose his side of the map, from watching the scrims whether they are behind or in front if he makes a call he has like a 95% hit rate. Either setting up dives, insane roam timings, objectives, and his vision control over enemy support, many times he can just solo save a teamfight. Hes just insane to watch, it seems like the other team just has to make plays through top side, not because of baus just because Rekkles seems that far ahead. Just my opinion tho obviously I've never played pro, but i have played against Rekkles' Janna, It's unplayable.

@@roaking7084 Isn't it beacuse Neme needs such low invesment into him to be useful that Rekky can make these plays? I'm not really high elo, but I think that a midlaner that knows what he needs, knows when he can rotate/roam almost perfectly is such a huge buff for the support that it's pretty reasonable to say they're on par and just accelerate each other even more? Also, not really related but how is Velja so good in this team when he didn't play almost any games competetive before? And Baus for sure needs the most polishing to be better but he is so good mechanically even though he says he isn't.

I can see how Baus is improving in his team play and map awareness watching his solo games, which is fun! He definitely has some areas to improve with being more of a team player, I think he's still stuck in his soloq mentality a bit in some ways, but 5 man and solo are two different games with the same basic rules. I don't necessarily think his desire to play for himself is necessarily bad, there's a history of top laners leaving just because playing weak side can be so frustrating and boring, so I can understand not wanting to play league like that. I like that Caedrel isn't trying to change Baus too much, but instead trying to help his style mesh better with his team. :D

i think it would be pretty fun if caedrel let his viewers play against each other (regardless of individual ranks). and caed's the caster. i just know it would be mega fun

Unironically, I would genuinely place Rekkles in my top 3 supports that are currently in pro-play. I think his mechanics, his macro and his leadership is damn near unmatched, I think he's an incredible support. I really hope he gets more into shot calling within the team. I think he could lead LR if he takes over as primary shotcaller.

He looks really clean but you have to remember he's not playing against top tier competition here, would look quite different playing in LCK LPL or even LEC. He's good but top 3 is quite the stretch to give before we witness him against top teams

idk if its better or not but can the editors make it the game a bit bigger while also cropping the facecam to circle/a bit smaller at least(on draft/review)?

Fearless draft game 5 with 50 champions gone is about draft strategy by layers, and not champion pool or gladiator mentality. Where and how will you win draft in these X market conditions? Some will decide to go for wombo combo draft and disregard player comfort, others might go for stall and split with a pocket Fiora, or even an objective / team fight focused comp, etc etc. It's not as "fiesta" as one thinks imo.
