I'm sick of all the Green apologists who keep saying that Green shouldn't be doing these things because of how important he is to the Warriors and to the NBA. How 'bout he shouldn't be doing these things because he could permanently injure someone or end their career??? Green was looking right at Nurkic as he was swinging his arm around, and his torso was mostly still. He was squaring up an intentional cheap shot to the head, but then at the last second he looks away and spins and stumbles hoping it will appear unintentional. He's killing the Warriors' chances in what could be the end of their window to compete for a championship, but hey, Draymond's gotta be Draymond, I guess. Open Letter To Draymond Green: GSW fans are grateful & appreciate your contributions to GSW's success [FIN 4-2, WCF 6-0, PLAYOFFS 23-5]; however, the ‘perpetual’ confrontations with referees, players & fans, plus technical fouls & ejections have a ‘persistent’ deleterious effect on GSW’s cohesion, synergy, & 5th title aspirations; WADR, do better!!!

The way Rich is describing this doesn't paint the full picture. Draymind FULLY turns around before swinging his arm at Nurkic's face. So there is no way he didn't know "what he was swinging at". This was as deliberate as it gets and no apology can make it go away. If you ask me, he's apologizing to get and avoid a double digit suspension from the League.

In the nfl you are provided the opportunity to get back at a guy legally, in the nba you’ll get suspended and hurt your team too. Part of the reason Draymond is still acting out, at an increasing rate, is because the NBA has often let him off with a fine instead of a suspension. Draymond clearly thinks it's ok to hit people as long as he tries to make it look accidental. NO ONE believes he did that on accident. This reminds me of when Artest elbowed Harden. Draymond needs to get in through his head he can't behave like this. He's going to hurt someone. Taking his lies and serial offender status he should be suspended for at least 20 games.

But now that there isn’t much to keep together he’s looking less important and doesn’t wanna be on the floor for the end. That way when the season goes how it goes he can say “well I wasn’t on the floor, so…”. Dude looked too eager to run into the locker room last night. Just my opinion.
