As a Utah born NBA fan and an ex mormon I'm confused on what being a mormon has to do with him not speaking to his family. I'm not a fan of the religion, but if she is grooming him it isnt the religion it's her.

No gambling no history no crimes. This isn’t a matter of picking up a player based on history, but based on normality. If u outside of normality u ain’t getting picked up. He lit has no family, and he got picked up by someone nearly 8 years older than him. No one lives a life where they just abandon their birth family, just to live a life with an utter stranger who is outside the age range. This not only raises red flags, u also don’t wanna deal with a groomed manipulated man who doesn’t see the importances of life. This translates to basketball so much.

I didn’t know Danny Ainge was Mormon that’s wild because Ryan Smith, owner of the Utah jazz is also Mormon he actually spent 2 years in Mexico as a missionary. Just a weird story all around.

If I was a GM I would definitely be at least a little wary about him cause if someone is willing to cut off his parents and family over something petty like this it makes him pretty unpredictable. What’s funny is that he was drafted to Utah too 😂 I would understand if they started dating after he was 18 and she wasn’t his babysitter and cut off his family but the whole backstory to this is very very weird I mean just imagine if the roles were reversed and he was 22 and she was 16 😬. The fact he was drafted to Utah too where there’s a bunch of Mormons is absolutely hilarious too 😂

Kyle’s brother should contact Mormon Stories KZbin channel or Mormon Discussions. They might be able to give him some airtime. If the greater ex-Mo community knows they might be able to reach out to his brother. These are from the ex-Mormon community in Utah. They have connections everywhere, all over the world and they know this religion inside and out. They know the church history and practices which turn a lot of Mormons into ex-Mos.
