Really enjoyed that game! Re: Flash's all-in when he was 2-base vs 3-base. I think you're SOOOOO right about the floating buildings helping. They completely shut down Best's ability to a-move his Goons from his rally point into the fight. I think you were also right about Flash pushing too hard with that. Seems like he was just in full-out macro autopilot and just constantly trying to shove forward so he could siege up at the natural which he never reached. If he had instead pulled back a little bit and just sieged up along that lake SE of Best's natural, using the floating buildings as cover, he could've taken the game right there. He had SCVs with the army and a floating ebay so he could even have thrown a couple of missile turrets near his minefields to get rid of Observers. Perhaps he felt like he really just needed to win with that push which we, with the benefit of hindsight and full map vision, could see was an incorrect judgement. All he needed with that all-in was to setup a contain while having his vultures target-fire the 3rd nexus, then he could've taken his own 3rd as his supply built up in the contain (rather than trading cost-inefficiently the whole time)

sick game from flash. i got chills from the timing in his build. so crazily efficient and optimised it's spooky. when the goliath range lined up perfectly with the shuttle arriving and the defence there i too thought he'd go for a 3rd cc. sick aggressive game from flash to see.

How much does it cost to repair a bunker? 1 Dragoon shot is almost 2 minerals in repair cost on a bunker. A Dragoon shoots every 1.26s So 1 Dragoon inflicts 1.58 minerals per second worth of damage. 1 SCV mines is 65 minerals per minute on low saturation, so 1.083 minerals per second. If we add those together, we get to a total cost of 2.67 minerals per second, which translates to 2.46 SCVs mining. If we add transition times for SCVs and not perfect mining efficiency, we end up with roughly 2.5 SCVs TLDR; Every dragoon shooting the bunker costs the Terran 2.5 SCVs worth of economy.

it's definitely something that should be seen a little more often than it is lately. Flash regularly sticks the depots out in front of the siege tanks when the map allows it, but since maps usually don't, I'd expect to see him pulling this move a little more in the future.

Floating buildings and more field-repair offensive SCVs are definitely Terran's future. It's even more APM and not viable for plebs like me, but in ideal circumstances it's incredible value

So many opportunities to pick HTs or block zealot pushes. Also tank positioning leveraging the map. I know it's hard in the heat of everything but I feel like he could pick better siege positions, especially early when the count is low. Clearly I know better than Flash 😂.
