I encountered this too about 75% of the heavy don't play their roles, i usually an aggressive player and my teammates don't even support me in anyway their all either in the other side of the map or camping at the back when they have more armor than me, i always have to hold back 3 to 4 tanks by myself.

No one in NA plays their roles, or even knows or cares what their role is. Lights camping in spawn, allowing red team TD's and others to snipe unspotted, lights with paper armour yolo into heavy front line, etc.

Another fine discussional post highlighting a problem in game at present. Too often you see this very thing happening, and you wonder how they got to that tier to start with. One of the resolves would be to curb tier jumping, making it harder for newer players to play in tiers and tanks they havent got experience in. As a smaller YT'r for yrs now, showing how to play, how to Ace tanks, has been a long haul, very few views, so its more of an aim to getting material like this from you bigger lads into the frame so others can learn and achieve better end game results.

as newbie they buy pre tanks with money before they reach tier 6-7 or open all with money buying credits and free xp ! so the game getting ruined !

Every YTer is saying the same thing so there is definitely something wrong, I constantly see players with 30k+ battles that do not even know the basics of the game, how is that possible ?, every other game there’s a AFK on one or the other side, the MM is a total joke and more and more of the experienced players are just quitting this game.

I regularlu AFK....thres smthing wrong with ingame ui or maybe my device is low...i will get stuck loading into battle...and you have to clear and enter the game freshly...its so frustrating

I notice this happens with all vehicle types. Heavies that snipe and miss most of their shots, paper thin TDs that rush to the frontline and die fast, mediums that refuse to flank and dogfight, and lights that hide and wait until the enemy is a 1 shot and steal the kill. It all boils down to update 5.5 this is all wargaming's fault. The devs want it to be like this. That's the root of all the problems that everyone complains about. I don't rage at players, I rage at the devs.

I just saw a player with 33k battles at 21% winrate. And, AND his most played tank is Maus with 9k battles with 23% winrate, 11% survival. bruh HOW? 😂

I play the Maus probably more than anyone on the NA server (5500+ matches). You really hit the nail on the head. I always go Frontline. Seeing heavys camping in TD positions is the worst. What really irritates me is players not knowing how to play with a Maus on their team. When I am blocking and eating shells left and right and no one on my team shoots the enemy tanks after they have fired their shell or clip. Personally when I am driving a support heavy or a med I love having a Maus on my team. He eats the shells and I get tons of free farm damage and don't get shot in return. Nothing annoys me more than when I engage a T57, I bounce 2 of his 3 shells, I track him out in the open, and no one behind me shoots him. Knowing how to play with a decent Maus on your team will be the easiest mastery you'll ever have. Let me eat the shells, you farm them up. So many matches where I may only do 2200 damage, but I blocked over 4000 damage plus my 2850 hp pool and I get the downvote at the end of the game. If the enemy has to send 7k plus of shells my way to kill me I have done my job well. All the time enemy wastes out in the open trying to aim for a spot to pen me because my angles are good, and not one player is paying attention and getting that free damage. Uggggh! 3:30

I have a love/ hate relationship with the game. I just had a break and just started playing again. The Annihilator has brought the fun back. If I have the armour then I will push to the front.

i dont know how bad it is in US and EU servers, but for SG server, its normal if your team have 3 HTs, 2 MTs and 2 TDs but when the game starts and you see minimum 5 snipers in team. i will say 60-70% of my games is like that

You also see meds camping in bushes and Grilles yoloing into the frontline. WG needs to enhance the roles like they did in PC and give extra credits and XP for doing those tasks. For example, heavy assault tanks are your superheavies that can push or hold well in the frontline, support tanks (50B, T57, FV215B) can't frontline well but they have great guns to support the team, assault heavies are faster (IS-7, 60TP) and have frontal armor to gain positions, breakthrough heavies (E5, Chiegtain) have high DPM and some armor to chew through enemy frontlines. This would teach players how each tank should be played, but it makes you wonder if they will learn when you have people with 30k battles doing so.

Fr I hate it when TDs think that since they are a “TD”, they should always be camping in the back. Had a T95 make that argument one game. Forced me to take a break from losing brain cells.

The T28 is a perfect example. It is a front line tank and very effective when played aggresively.

Sometimes they not do their tank roles its like TD players tryst HT like E100 I mean like E100 good but it's not like staying up there and waiting. In other words there's other HT players don't follow their roles cuz they can say that own team don't support the line its just annoying APAC server its pain tto play that server.

its maybe crazy idea from me but wg can change all this stat.just clans in game out of clan not possibel to play and all must keep the orders of the commander in chief ,training in all maps,tacktics,strategy must be learning all players in clan ! out of clans free players are like land mine ruined the game , not all sure but most of them .

And tier seven, which i seem to be up against the most, has all the big hitters like the kv2 , or the Annilator/Helsing/Gravedigger/Smasher. Three hits and im done. Two hits sometimes. One hit occasionally. What can you do but try to camp most of the time? To do anything else is a gross misuse of what is a highly specialized vehicle

This happens just as frequently as lights and meds going heavy side to get slaughtered. Steam has about 100k daily users. As a mobile game, it will be more. Let's say it's 500k (probably more) and compare that to the views. The large majority of people doesn't check these things regularly. The game itself does little to educate people. There's a long list of stats, that most people probably don't check or understand either. I'm not great, have around 3k battles and 55% WR. When I occasionally check the worst players of a battle, they'll often have 20k or more battles with a 45ish WR. They're probably resistant to learning by doing, too. I don't know if I can blame them though. Some people just want to pew pew a bit in a cool tank, to relax after a long day.

Here's the problem with heavy tanks and most tanks in the game. The players are in a rush to unlock and play the higher tier tanks so they are playing tanks with the least amount of crew training and lowest features. Players don't understand how to read maps and setup up positions. Players don't read the map while playing. Players have to understand that the game is not just about what's in front of your tank. Players have to understand the best armor is rocks and buildings and hills...Hide your tank. Players have to understand the hardest positions to play are the central positions... Stick to the side of the map or hide your tank well behind obstructions. Players have to understand that you are on one side but not necessarily on a team. Players! Get in the habit of reading the team rosters. It will save you a lot of misery.

Im in an su100y most of the time. No sloped armour Slow reload Long aim time Only 954 hit points at most Bad hull turn rate. With all this in mind, most of the time, if i try to play like a fast turreted tank, my match is over very quickly. But a lot of these maps are so stuffed with terrain that its impossible to play " engagement at a distance" anyway. Its all fair and well to hand out such advice, but really, these maps are so " Disneyland" with too much short range banging away at each other that the only statistic thats decisive is reload time!

Imo the reason for this happening is becuz of how easy it is to progress the game, back then you bet your ass that you have to go through hell grinding with only x2 xp, now x10 xp is a thing, grinds have been made so much easier and faster, with previous slow grinds, you learn the game in the process, now progression is so god damn fast that you barely learn anything and you've already reached t10, also the prob with in-app purchases, compared to wot pc, its slightly much cheaper here and as a result, fresh new players(under 1,5k games) who refuse to learn the game steadily or cant cope with the game's already easy grinds either buy their way to t10(free xp and all that shit) or simply get a t10 collector/prem

Try to remember when you were new to the game and didn’t know 10% of what you know now. It’s easy to do it wrong. And there very well may be people out there that don’t know about KZbin content to learn about the game. Difference is now WG encouraging it, makes them more $ (plus they have fewer active players). Also when I started, grinding actually took time (how I see players with 500 battles who have tech tree tier 10s in their garage. It took me near 1500 battles to grind my first tier 10 (I did entire American tech tree at once). But best available was x2 XP. Now they have x5 and x10 XP and other additional xp bonuses.

Players simply buy their way to top tiers with no experience. This is exactly what WG wants them to do because they only care about money, not about game play.

@wotbsortofsucks3344 that I get. That's how you get a guy with 210 battles fighting ratings battles at tier 8-9. Lmfao. Always in a premium tank. Does NOT explain the jacked up stats some of them have though. I fail to see how a guy with (ie) 340 battles fought, somehow manages aces/masteries, and excessive damage dealt (2500 n up) at tier 5/6. I literally saw a "noob" with under 500 battles, boasting upper third gold league ranking, +75% w/r, average damage dealt around 650. Suddenly starts getting Meadsy69, Droodles (or other like player) stats. Doesn't add up 🤔

ı played 5-5 kv 2 stayed in back side not one time taken action just watching how we fight he was surely newbie 89 game play but ı spotted also in tier ıx players in team after game ı checked after game result, player in my team with 170 k game play ,just 320 dmg 😂 ım allways active the best is taken action if not enemy clean up whole team ! its a game ı cant understande why players feared to get destroyed ,just trolling, sometimes ı blocking alone 2-3 enemy so my main team have more time to clear the enemy where they angaged ,no problem for me if ı get destroyed ,becouse my team with my help winned the game so ! if ı dont block the enemy they falling in there backside all getting circeled and destroyed ! the trick is read tank strategy ! specialy german tanks in 2.ww ! they was master in circeling and destroying enemy !

It is not all your team mates fault. You do have influece in about 10% of battles and any player that has learned how to play properly should be over 50%.

Mainly the player base are a good mix of idiots and really aggressive players who play their roles well. However the ratio here is 10000:1, yes....10k idiots to 1 normal player. Then there's the bots put in to fill the missing players at lull time where players are not alot. So this game really needs to look hard into the MM, and how they can work to punish players who deliberate play like idiots harder.
