When I was alone for the first viewing of my 18 week daughter, the Funeral director left the room, I was peeking around trying to find the embalming site(s) and the Director quietly and quickly came to my side to see what I was concerned about. He told me that she hadn’t been embalmed, which gave me comfort. He did say he used a special cream on, which I know nothing about. My baby died on Sunday, I saw her on Monday and she was buried Tuesday morning.

The Carol Burnett Show did a crazy parody of the movie "Valley of The Dolls" in the mid-late 60's. I only saw the show once, but the scene was 4-5 actresses sitting on a bed talking solemnly about their lives. One of the women in the scene was contemplating suicide. The response from another woman (Carol?) was "bring me back a jar of Dippity-Doo." I laughed for hours & haven't forgotten. I have named this formaldehyde jell Dippity-Doo when I became an embalmer, but didn't use it as a setting jell.

She had tissue breakdown. By the time the FH came, she was starting to swell. The nxt day when my cousin & I went to make her arrangements, I had her clothes with me, he informed me that she couldn't b viewed. It broke my heart. I believe this is what they had to do to her. We had a closed casket. I could not see her anymore. I wanted to kiss her goodbye. It hurt me deeply. Tho I got to see my father, they did a wonderful job on him. Is it something you would discourage or recommend? And for anyone reading this, do you think this is creepy? I’m looking for all feedback! Many thanks!
@lilchi7213 жыл бұрын
Yes you can have tattoo art made with cremated ashes of your loved one. These are referred to in the industry as ritual or commemorative tattoos. The important thing to keep in mind is that the ashes need to be handled properly, in a sterile environment when being mixed in with the tattoo ink. Any contamination of the ashes or ink can introduce the risk of infections
@cheekychicka3 жыл бұрын
@@lilchi721 ~ hanks for your feedback and suggestion. I have heard of people using ashes for ink but you never know what is true. I have my father’s heartbeat that I plan on getting tattooed in myself and I have some of his ashes so I think it might be great to marry the two together. I think I am more worried about the chemical and structural composition of the ashes and if there is anything that could possibly go wrong.
