Geno need to make sure Paige have the ball in her hands at all times like JuJu and Hannah does. Forget running the offense and letting the “others” touch it (with the expecting of Sarah Strong). Gotta let the playmaker takeover in those games.

Right. Unfortunately, she still is much needed for offense when UConn lacks consistent shooters except her and Sarah. I still wish that Paige could be a primary PG again one day when Aubrey and Azzi return which could help with both offense and defense. I do miss her being the PG so much in her freshman and sophomore years. The offense looks much better when she runs the point.

Prior to Paige getting injured they were just fine not sure why Geno switch Paige playing style, she can easily average 30 to 40 pts a game if Geno let her just play.

They need a big defensive player in the middle, who is smart enough to play in front of the player forcing teams to go. Over the top. Also they need to stay with their strength which is the total rotation that opens the court up for drives and outside shots to much standing around when no rotation

Brianna Stewart is the last one who played center for Uconn well. Geno just doesn't get highly ranked centers out of highschool. He certainly doesn't develop them. Look at all the champions since uconn won. They all have great bigs. Not Uconn. Its that simple.

The missing piece is the development games before the tournaments. 11 Big East then TN then 2 more Big East then SC then 4 more Big East then the Big East turnament. So many fans mmiss how Geno prepares for the tournaments. Last year UConn came within 3 points of making the NC with 3 vets and 4 Freshmen.

Azzi Fudd started today. Who knows, based on her injury history how long it will last. But, based on her's and the teams performance today, Uconn would have likely beaten both Notre Dame and USC. I wouldn't worry about where Uconn will be come March, barring injuries. Best coaching staff in college women's basketball in history!!

That is the funniest thing I've ever heard. Fudd is unreliable, 0-4 against USC, 3-11 against a high school team. UConn will NOT even make the Elite Eight with just two players in double digit scoring and LESS than 15 bench points per game. UConn's field goal and three point percentages, against a high school team on THEIR home court will NOT beat Notre Dame not USC. Tennessee is going to beat UConn this year, just wait and see.

The issue is Caitlin Clark became a phenom on her own in a state without a professional team in any sport or a sports network located in her state replete with grads from the state university hyping her. People don't like the media trying to force feed "the next Clark" down their throats. Clark and Iowa lost games, but there were few where she wasn't the best player on the floor. Juju wasn't the best player on the floor vs ND and Paige wasn't vs ND or Juju. Let their play earn it.

Geno is the missing link, the team isnt that good. Decisions have consequences and they'll have to settle for "we did our best". Just like your show, it has a repeative format, marginal analysis, and has a shallow narrative. Clark, UCONN, JuJu: rinse and repeat.
