Thanks for the explaination. In the days before CGI, in art class we would draw our sculptured molds', movement in 2D, with lighting on single sheets of a drawing pad. flip the pages of the drawing pad to check the animation. Finally, flippin all pages in the pad just to get a few mintues of animation. It was tedious work. I am glad I learned the basic concepts,then. Now,I know what is real on film verses what is a drawing. Showing us the drawing stage of CGI is okay. The real deal is getting it imbeded onto video / film.

Sorry for the delayed response brother. Any animation is made of sequences of images. Normal movies have 24 frames (images) per second to make the animation. So the moving dinosaur here is also sequences of dinosaur images which are computer generated.
