What is wrong with Samsung smartphones!?

Samsung is in a bit of a problem, its about to discontinue its beloved galaxy FE series, its Exynos chipsets are not even close to its competition Qualcomm snapdragon, Samsung’s sales are dropping and Samsung has a big problem with its foldable as well. So these are severe issues happening with Samsung, so today we’ll see what is happening, why it is happening and what Samsung is doing about it?

I am using S21 fe with Exynos 2100 . See I know it’s not a gaming processor but it’s a flagship one and I’m getting the same experience. I don’t know about previous exynos processor but the 2100 is a good processor obviously not as equal to the snapdragon counterpart and that’s why the s21fe was a hit in the offer time and KZbinrs didn’t complained much about the 2100.

I know exynos is weak but I have been using a53 5g with exynos 1280 for 7 months now and I kinda liked it.first I was not very confident on switching from an snapdragon 720g to exynos but after trying it out it's OK for an mid range phone like mine but samsung have to improve it. Hope they do it 😊

Yes I do like ( skin tone of i phone ) But if i hav to pay 15k extra for that Then I'll never buy that .. I have used S20 and owned a S21. I bought a Exynos version. I never had to face any issues with it. I use my phone for photography and casual gaming playing heavy titles like Genshin Impact. I never had to face an issue with it. Sometimes I feel that Exynos is demonised more than it should be.

Samsung s series or any other phone powered by exynos just dies by its own it gets stuck in a boot loop while you are using the phone. Just Google it or see it in KZbin. Search samsung (whatever your model is) stuck in samsung logo or boot loop. I have 3 phones died the same way and conveniently, it happens after the warranty expires. BTW samsung knows this problem.

Battery life is mediocre and performance is subpar (Although E2100 is a capable chip, it doesn't perform identically with the s21 series). The performance is not a con though as it is still very capable. Battery life needs to be improved though.

Yes, Samsung is not going to use the Exynos chipsets at least in flagships They might still experiment these chips in FEs and A series Let's wait for the 2025 Samsung's custom chip which they are starting from the scratch in collaboration with Google and a few engineers they stole from Apple 😂. (They are calling it the Galaxy Dream project or whatever) There's no denying that Samsung is nailing it with their flagship lineups, but they aren't good with the budget phones. We can get good Chinese alternatives but still the software experience on Samsung midrange phones is far better than those (except for Motorola). Lastly coming to the foldables, we didn't get a flat hinge with Fold 4 and Flip 4 because Samsung wanted to make them water-resistant (As of now only Samsung's foldable are water-resistant). However, it's rumoured that Fold 5 and Flip 5 will have a fully folding hinge with minimum crease along with water resistance. I hope we see a good upgrade in Samsung's foldable phones because the previous year phones were just not worthy of being called as an upgrade. Instead of working on pricing of their Flagships, they thought of discontinuing Samsung FE series which in my view is one of the most successful series of a brand that's known for its flagship phones. For S23 series - 8 gen 2 chipset will be manufactured by Samsung itself and not by TSMC, So the heating and inefficiency issue will continue in this year's flagship as well (unless they change the manufacturing method which is not likely). Brace for it.

4:13 using s20 fe 5g for almost a year now(bought in June 2023 for 25k) except the heating issue and the battery backup being about 6 hrs SOT, the phone works absolutely fabulous. The fold series from Samsung is the only fold phone (IPX8 certified ) which is water resistant with that's why there hinge are not that great in looks(does not make screen close together when we fold the phone) and there is not other fold phone form any manufacturer which provides water resistant also there are rumors that fold 5 will come with new design of hinge which makes the screen to make complete contact and remain flat while we fold the phone you cant compare a phone without telling both there cons and pros

I am using Exynos processor Samsung phones for last 8 years. I see no problem there. No hitting issue, no lagging issue, good battery backup, awesome optimisation. I don't know why most of the KZbinrs complain about Exynos processor. It's kind of cumulative effort to malign something. Are they paid for it ?
