This is a really cool piece, Ian. It's extremely interesting to see you choreograph to Kyle again after your journey over the last few years of really diving into Hip Hop culture and revisiting your fundamentals in funk styles. You still interpret music in much the same way, but the choreography looks wildly different because of your re-training. It's not often we see an artist of your level hit a peak and then climb back down the mountain just to find a better way up to the top, but it's been incredibly inspiring for me these past couple years. It almost seems like you don't have any limits anymore, it's like you've broken off the chains that you unintentionally put on yourself... You've always inspired me, but your non-stop growth these past couple years has been incredible to see from an outsider's perspective. Thanks for always sharing your gift with us. Ancora Imparo!

Hi, Ian. Thankyou for giving me always the courage to push myself into dancing. I know it sound corny, but I really love your dance and your personality. Btw, I'm a big fan of yours from Philippines. My dream is atleast to dance together with you. I know its impossible, but atleast, hope you will notice this. Still watching your "get you" freestyle and your "paper hearts" choreography.. Iloveyou bro. Wish you all the best.

Watch it a few more times, it's not messy it's just big. He executes each motion very cleanly and stays in the pocket perfectly. His choreography used to be smaller and more contained, making it easier to see what's going on to an untrained eye, but he's doing what he's always done, just at a higher level with better technique/ fundamentals

@@Sapphire1982 I didn't want to engage on this any further, but seeing as multiple people are just blatantly missing the point then I guess I have to help people understand. It's okay if you don't like what you're seeing, that's fine because everybody has personal preference on anything whether they understand it or not, but if you're going to hate on something you should at least understand what it is and characterize it correctly. These garage videos are advertisements for Ian's online dance classes. The pieces you're watching are designed specifically with technique and fundamentals in mind to help drill and improve your dancing at a high level. If you watch these videos through the appropriate lens, you can really appreciate what you're seeing; a teacher with a lot of knowledge and ability who is combining both to help push professional dancers to get better. These garage videos are not meant for the casual viewers at all, but that doesn't mean that "old Ian" is gone at all. If you watch his actual professional work that he puts out, it still looks very much like what everybody refers to as "old Ian", because that's his brand and it's what he brings to the industry. Watch his recent joint to "Juicy", or go check out his performance in "E.T.A. | Changes: The Movement" and you'll see that the "old Ian" is still very much alive and well. I will state again, that it's okay if you actually don't like the choreography that you're seeing in these garage videos, but you need to understand that it isn't meant to be impressive choreography as much as it's meant to be an advanced piece of teaching material, and an advertisement for his classes. If you want to say the choreography in this video isn't good, that's your opinion, but if you want to say that "he's just not trying as much I mean it's okay but just say what it is lmao" then you should probably know what the hell you're talking about in the first place, otherwise people who know what they're talking about are going to make you look like an ignorant hater. "but just say what it is lmao" you got what you wanted, here's what it is: this video isn't meant for you, it's meant for people who actually know dance and want to practice to get better. Don't be a hater, hating is bad.
