I been to Liverpool in the summer of 2021. Ive been to Glasgow early this year. Liverpool is a beautiful city. I rate they are very passionate with their views. There was protests over the vaccine and covid lockdown (obviously). Theres a humour there. But i found the people were a bit distant and aloof. Some were friendly enough to talk to for short periods though. It wasnt particularly dangerous. No one robbed me, (despite the stereotype of keep hide your stuff from a scouser)Ngl though everyone seemed a bit distant. I didnt get the warm welcome i thought id get even though i was respectful and kind to people. Everyone was in a rush there. Id say Glasgow was more friendly. The people had more time for me in Scotland. I had a real laugh there on a night out. That was my perception visiting there. I felt a bit like an outsider because i wasnt from there. Maybe it was the time i went not long after covid i dont know... Im sure theres decent people there, but i dont see things with rose colored spectacles. There seems a bit of they like their own there for some of them. I've been on apps with people from Liverpool and a lot of em from there dont awknowledge me. They say Manchester is similar, although they talk to you like theyve known you years like other northeners. I do rate the backbone of Liverpool. I feel bad for them, because they have been shit on by the goverment. The Sun, other newspapers, by Thatcher etc. But some people there have a chip on their shoulder, when some of us are sound. I may be bk laa for chicken and chips and a can of coke though😂(never even got that lol)

When you live outside of England the worst accents we hear are, Newcastle, Scouse, manc and Birmingham.
