International Online guitar competitions of interpretation /original compositions is better than social medias. Why? It serves the musicians all around the world in a way everyone would challenge him self to work for that goal of shining, sharing his music and that's a great way to make constructive connections, exchanges between players which will make music communities more alive. It also serves music it self especially if studios consider it (as exemple) it could be bigger than that. "Music for all" what do you think?

We guitarists cannot play 8 hours a day, there is extra time available. Modern technologies make it possible to do a lot, if not all, practical things yourself. In the past artists where often exploited by record companies, managers etc. . Now we have more freedom and better possibilities to get more revenue of our work.

More freedom and not enough money if you sit with a pencil and a sheet paper to make a percentage of how much hours you need to write, produce, mix, master, eventually a video, upload to different platforms in Internet, not to mention if you play live paying for a rehearsal room, insurances, taxes, etc.

@@sidalientv Music is not my profession and not a source of income but I do or have done many of the things you mention, so I know what it is. I create and edit video's, recorded with a high quality home recording equipment, I compose. Uploading to a streaming service is not time consuming. It is all doable.
