Thanks for the video,I tried to summit solo at the end of July this year,walked up to the goûter hut from les houches in one day,too windy to summit the following day it was an experience sleeping in the goûter though with thunder and lightning and the hut literally shaking in 80kph winds. Looks like you had perfect conditions.

Reading your website, it looks like you guys have a really slick operation going. Being from the midwest/flat plains area of the United States, we just don't have access to big adventures like this. Big mountains have always been a fascination for me, and so with my impending move to Oslo, Norway soon, I'm going to be in a place to finally make my mountain dreams come true. Pretty interested in maybe doing the Alpine skills course next spring, with an attempt on the Mont Blanc summit (this trip in the video), in 2023. I hope to be in touch sometime early next year

Yeah it's something to be very aware of. If you're going with a guide then they'll know whether it's right to cross or not.

Great video , if you were doing a summit day from the Tete Rousse hut and wanted to summit then be back in the valley the same day what time would you suggest being ready to go at the latest ? Like 2:30 am , later , earlier etc

No later than 02:30. We would be looking to leave as early as possible to try and get passed the Grand Couloir in time.

What do you do to make sure you don't have to "use a toilet" once you leave the Gouter hut? Or another time?

There are always spots you can go, although exposed. The time spent away from huts shouldn't be so long that you get caught short though.
