Climbing Mont Blanc - The Goûter Route

We have a rule that every month we get out of the office, away from the noise and in to the great outdoors. This month was the big one. We took off to try and summit Western Europes highest mountain, Mont Blanc!
Mont Blanc (4810m) is the highest peak in the Alps and Western Europe. This beautiful, imposing and highly sought after summit will never disappoint and it didn't for us. It's a majestic peak that sits at the roof of the Alps on the border of France and Italy, has magnificent views across the rest of the Alps and entices mountaineers from all over the world year after year.

Phenomenal effort reaching the summit! LOVED the footage - exactly how I remember the thrill of my own climb up MB! Knowing how physically and mentally demanding that was, the three of you made it look SOOO MUCH FUN, which is totally what the experience should be - enjoying the entire process. Yep, there are certainly some exposed moments so you want to be comfortable (ish) with heights

Great Video. I want to go there with a friend next year but we dont want to sleep in the hut. Is it legal to just throw a tent or do we have to summit in 1 day?

Maiby you already know the awnser but no this is not allowed and gives you high fines up to 10k! only thing that comes close is renting a 'tent' at the Tete Rousse hut.
