So my 2007 rav 4 with 197,000 miles to Florida, 10 hour drive will be ok?
@andrewvalenzuela43833 жыл бұрын
@@R.G.LovesBooks I'd to a coolant flush, deep cleaning the radiator making it run cooler, the proper temp for seals and gaskets. Make sure your suspension is up to par, good tires, brakes, alternator, and that your head gasket is in good shape and you should be fine. Toyota uses quality pumps and interals so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

my 97 civic ran great, until it overheated a couple times and blew the head gasket...It even ran well WITH the blown gasket....270k miles...But im not giving up on it, Im replacing the gasket myself!
@SJHFoto Жыл бұрын
@@karlpage9028 Check the head as well, if you drove it with a blown head gasket, you can warp the head
@karlpage9028 Жыл бұрын
@@SJHFoto I barely drove it after that..Didn't notice anything until I noticed the coolant was low. It wasn't overheating..So I parked it at that point. Head wasn't warped, have the new gasket on... Unfortunately one of the rocker arms fell underneath the assembly and broke when we were cranking it down, so have to go to a picknpull and grab another, but should be good to go
