I’m in the military and I’ve been deployed in Jordan for the last 6 months, going back home to the U.S. very, very soon. We don’t get the opportunity to go off base often, but some places in your video I’ve got the chance to visit during my time here. I was able to go to Petra, the Dead Sea, Wadi Mujib, Amman (Citadel, Rainbow Street & the Roman Theater), and Aljoun & Jerash. Loved seeing you back in Jordan, you seemed so full of life! ❤️

Hi! Chicagoan here. I lived in Rome for five years (just moved to the UK a few years ago). Best pasta in Roma is at a place called Da Teo. No one in the comments will change my mind. It’s a bit off the beaten path (aka it’s not next to piazza navona) but it’s the best. Real Romans will be there, don’t let them push you around, insist you will wait for a table, and they’ll get you in! Also, get an excellent wine and cheese spread at Vin Allegro in Trastevere which is my old stomping ground and way pretty. Of a night you can watch performers across from Ponte Sisto on the steps with a beer or soda from the little bodegaish shops right there with the other Italians xx also in Monti there’s a massive square where everyone hangs out if you really want to go local! You’re the best, hope you have a blast!

To me, as one of your subscribers, I see a side of you that isn’t often at the surface and it’s absolutely incredibly beautiful to see!! Yes…Jordan will of course hold a special place in your heart. As you continue your travels, seek that feeling that was so easily attained in Jordan. Perhaps what I say next might not be a popular choice but, I sincerely feel that the ease and calm of familiarity you have in Jordan will be found in where you choose to move to next. I truly believe this. When something feels right, it gives you an undeniable sense of home. For me, I don’t believe you returning to live in Jordan is where you are meant to live…however, it WAS meant for you to feel that FEELING. That contentment is what gets us to say to ourselves…yes, this is where I am to be right now. I used to live in Utah. Northern Utah. Met my husband at college and he was hired by a corporation in San Diego. We moved to San Diego and it felt awesome. We ended up staying in Southern California after he was no longer with the corporation who originally hired him. We could have gone back to Utah where a lot of our family lives but we never even talked about doing so. My husband got hired elsewhere and we made our own way here. Haven’t looked back either with any sort of real regrets other than missing family. We knew what was right for us and I believe you’ll experience that feeling when you get it about where you’ll be calling home next. Happy travels, Taylor!! I most genuinely thank you for allowing me to vicariously travel with you. Life is too short so taste everything so that you’ll know the sweetness that it has to offer everywhere…💕
