The econmy seats in sq are more comfortable than the other encomny seats in other airlines. Stop complaining. Although, their pricing is more expensive. However the staff has excellent attitude. When I went on a overseas learning journey with my friends, they kept asking us how we were and if we felt dizzy or anything. One flight attendant even said that his son studied at our school. Like, they were so polite and kind.

The longest flight I ever took was when I was eight. We got to be in first class (although it wasn’t a fancy Singapore airline, just an average American one) only because they messed up something with our ticket buying process, so we got first class for the same price as normal. The flight was 7 hours, but it didn’t feel too long because it was the first time I’d ever had a real meal on a flight. Pretty cool

There is a big difference between Business and Economy. Try an economy class for 19 hours then get back us because this is a poor representation of the vast majority. However, I did 10.5 hours from Phoenix to Heathrow and wasn't too bad on an AA and they gave us legroom with no one on each side for people in the rear of the plane, generally quiet flight, good food, attentive flight attendants and good entertainment.

SoCal Drifter Me and my family flew to Thailand last year and the long flights were Montreal to Shanghai and Hong Kong to Toronto first on the 787-8 and next on the 777-300 on the flight back we were seated right in front of the washrooms so the noise was a bit of issue but the food and service was pretty nice. (we flew with Air Canada)

Fabian Gandara premium economy isn’t that bad. With extra-long-haul flights like this there are tons of entertainment choices. It’s this or go to Frankfurt then Singapore and add 10 hours to the leg whilst sitting in a fluorescent-lit terminal waiting for your connecting flight to Singapore. New York and Singapore are massive finical cities and most people on this flight are to do with business and just need to get from A to B.

The cheapest I saw was an Emirates flight on the other way around stopping in Dubai and Athens, 46 hours. This was fastest as this appeared to be a flight where the premium economy seats were being sold as economy. Best value was Ethiopian with the stops in Addis Ababa and Lome(capital of Togo).

went on their flight from singapore to LAX 17/18 hours direct it was actually really nice! as long as you fall asleep easy on planes like me and bring an extra small pillow you’ll be fine. took premium economy single seater in the back. best decision ever. my cabin space was beside me instead of another person so i didnt have to struggle w lifting my carry on and the cover of the cabin space became an extra table for me on my flight!

Oh i know how this feels i traveled 18 hours in total from two different planes in a row (not counting time waiting in airport and between flights) and its way more energy draining especially with a whole family to cater to and nearly missing our flight both times we got on. Overall an exciting and fun experience because we got to go somewhere different, although scary it was extremely exciting of the feeling of going somewhere new, i defiantly reccomend (also dont listen to sad music when the lights are out that just gets you way too in your feels)

Flew on singapore airlines on a 25 hour flight once (there was a 2 hour stop over but we didnt get off so we were sat there for two extra hours) and it definitely feels like it i can assure you

cosmicpillar yep the weather AND the flight there. I only got an hour of sleep. It was horrible. But overall I still really enjoyed Singapore. :) The food was amazing and it was a very clean and nice place to visit.
