Sorry for the late reply, well mass communication is actually the course I’m taking that deals with media fields including newsgathering and reporting, film direction and production, event management and more. I actually asked my teacher the difference between ba comm and ab comm, however, I’ve failed to remember what she said which I apologize😅. My course is BA Comm Major in Media which actually deals with broadcasting and production as well. By the way, I still haven’t took any lessons of film production because I’m still in my first year. If you’re planning to take up mass communication and want to focus on that certain field then I suggest BA COMM Major in Media😊

Hello, from what I’ve researched, both courses a have similarities however, ab broadcasting is tackles in depth lessons and has lessons specifically designed for training broadcasters. Also, you may proceed working as a broadcaster if you take up mass comm as well😊

Actually, I’ve managed to explain this on my tips for incoming mass comm video, feel free to check it if you like. But to answer your question, Yes and it’s not necessary to speak fluently in English when you’re a mass comm student. There are even activities that requires us to use cebuano/bisaya like during our broadcasting and other activities as well.

Andrew ASMR I guess not kay it’s not a barrier man. I, myself, am not that fluent in English. From what I’ve observed so far, it’s more on challenging your abilities in writing and communicating as well. Ma te-test rin ang pag english mo due to activities that requires you to speak in english😊

@@danahmarie4244 When it comes to mass communication, our school offers two majors and that would be major in media which you may proceed to work with broadcasting both in tv and broadcasting as well, you may also work in production. For major in corporate communication, you may work in event organizing, companies and more.
