He's being really respectful, and SUPER buttery on that throttle control. Edit: and he's scraping knee with a passenger on the back, what a savage

I'm not sure what I find more impressive: how composed and smooth the rider was, or how fucking brave the girl on the back is.

I'm a guy and was passenger on my friends Ninja ZX10r, i hanged on as tight as i could and we flew to around 180mph (he told me the mph after we were done) during the ride, the wind force was soo strong and i freaked out and kept my eyes closed for the rest of the time, and when we stopped, i got off and was shaking and heart was pumping fast. One of the best experiences i ever had but knowing the fact that there are no seatbelts and no coverage behind my back made me worry also.

Alanis, he's taking it very easy and smooth for the first half of the video in order to get heat in the tyres. He's also taking it very easy with brakes, and with lean angle even when he's going a bit quicker. Keep in mind that, whilst fast to you, it's not anywhere race pace. To him, it's the gentle Sunday ride where he's thinking about what he's doing later, and what he's going to cook for dinner. Car people don't get that the average superbike is near formula one levels of performance under power, and pretty close handling wise. BTW, you're welcome to come for a gentle ride with me, any time :)

Alanis King Thanks Alanis. I was just thinking the same. Going to head over to the article now. Had you ever been on a large capacity race bike before this? I took my mate out on mine as he kept saying how driving cars is probably much harder etc.......spent most of the time screaming, crushing my ribs and pushing me over the front under braking! Lol 😂 but had a complete change of opinion by the time I let him off. Hope you had fun. Need to come and see the Isle of Man TT or some Irish road racing, it's on another stratospheric-all level all together. Thanks for sharing it with us, kindest regards Dean. Wales, UK.

Cool Reminds me of when I was a kid and I get on the back of my uncles Yamaha Enduro 250 or something and we’d be going down the street to Ellicott city popping willies riding off the sides of the road. I really don’t know how I survived I really don’t , because he drove as if he was trying to pitch me off the back
