Perfect example of why you should number your packages per stop as you're putting in your vehicle
@jnotravels9 ай бұрын
Sort the packages by driver aid number lowest to highest makes it a lot easier to find the package.
@TheoDog-bp1uj8 ай бұрын
It sucks. Crap ton of packages that customers say they didn’t get. You find out 3-4 weeks after you made the delivery that they never received it, causing you to get a lower rating.( you’ll never know what drop it was either) Basically customers want their shit for free. No defense can be taken on your account. You used to be able to get some good pickups in the app if you were quick enough. The app has a lot of bots now used by other flex drivers that snatch them up quicker than any human can. You drive sometimes a very long way out to your delivery area and you spend a lot of gas and put hella mileage on your vehicle. ( dirt roads are unforgiving with potholes galore) No shortage of dangerous areas to deliver to. The pros … The scenic routes are pretty cool. Sometimes you can land one that’s 140.00-170.00 and it’s only like 20 packages. No boss to report to or anyone infringing upon your freedoms. Listen to whatever music you want.

As long as I have my pen and deliver all of my packages, I'd say I had a pretty good day over all no matter where I'm driving for flex lol

The miles to money ratio sucks. They always send me two counties over to make deliveries.

Hi! New sub here. What cameras are you using to record yourself and the road? I ask because I just got dinged for a delivery with DD and I'm thinking about filming to prove my deliveries. Cheers!

Welcome! Thanks for the comment. That's so unfortunate! I used to DD all the time, the camera I'm using is a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 so not very budget friendly but takes incredible videos

If you’re doing flex the packages are numbered. If not you can use magic marker to number package. It saves you time. 46 packages in 5 hours? I wish. Normally 45 packages 3 hours.
@Colin.gallagher8 ай бұрын
I do flex in Minnesota, generally they give roughly 10 stops per hour unless it's way out in the country

45 packages take me 2 hours with Amazon Flex. Get creative.
@Colin.gallagher8 ай бұрын
@@tboneups I'm saying they GIVE 10 packages per 1 hour of block time. I'm not gonna pretend like delivering 45 stops always takes 2 hours but some are definitely quicker than others

Does Delivering So Much Packages Affect Your Standing Do Customers Lie They didn't receive Order
@Colin.gallagher8 ай бұрын
Honestly not really, as long as you snap a picture you're cleared. If you say you handed it to a customer but didn't then you could get knocked. I'll make a video about the standing system

The more miles you drive the better off you are. How? - You can claim mileage when you do your taxes next year. The reimbursement is much higher than the cost of the gas. But I hear you say the car wears out much more when you drive a lot. This is where you are wrong. You are roughly running the engine for the duration of the block either way. The engine would much rather cruise at a steady speed than suffer in stop and go traffic. The other thing is, you will have much fewer packages with longer distance, so the strain on doors open/closing, seatbelt buckle, tranny shifting gears less is much lesser.
