What it's like waking up to a mini dachshund

We love waking up to our miniature dachshund Mac, who is always so snuggly. He loves sleeping under the blankets and is usually the last one out of bed :)

Like Leesa's mini, both our current and former minis were and are "undercover" dogs. Our current mini (1.5 yrs old), Riggs, prefers having his butt and feet sticking out _and up._ My wife and I call it, "feet up, balls out". 😄

Mac picked up on house training surprisingly quick, but we think it was partially do to us having a designated dog relief area near our building - he saw (and smelled) what other dogs were doing in the neighborhood :). We definitely have heard from other doxie owners that it's pretty common for them to have accidents though and that they can be a hard breed to house train.
