It’s very generous of the owners to allow you to eat what you like, most would allow you to have one meal per shift and usually with the cheaper ingredients, some places give you discounts and others don’t give you free food at all. Glad you found a job you love!

Stays back to finish up probably fair deal supervisor role would get tired of same food and be able to tell customers what is good... Does not eat any meat or seafood...

I agree! If we were to order there, we‘d get 50% off. At work we get it for free. My manager is really generous and I love working with her 🥹

Enlightening to see what a superviser does at a major fast food franchise. Compared to earlier in the year when you were picking strawberries, this work is a stark contrast with variety of tasks and skill levels. Same here! The concept is so simple but so good. Ahahah the nubs on a giraffe is pretty accurate! And please don’t order wraps, they are so hard to fold cause they always get too full and end up breaking 😭😭

True, I work with great people and my manager is awesome! However.. we had many complaints about the owners who run the store due to underpaying their employees. Didn’t expect this to happen at subway but it did.. again.

We are usually a team of 3-4. At the end of the shift it’s just me and another junior. I usually give them a hand and serve customers when it gets busier or when customers are waiting ☺️

The pay she gets here is better than the office jobs I have worked. $27 an hour and $40 on weekends is great if you’re getting plenty of hours. Especially the $40 on weekends. Office jobs are mentally draining, it’s hard to tend to people and want to talk to others while you’re trying to focus on your work, crunching numbers, sorting paperwork and emails. You make mistakes if you don’t stay focused. On top of sitting inside all day at a computer, it’s not good for your health. It becomes really depressing after a few months. I’d say keep doing what you’re doing!
