It's a good video about Mexico city. I would like to visit there because it's a good place to see and I would like to invite you to visit Kashmir, India this year to enjoy snowfall and skiing here and make travel vlogs in Kashmir so that everyone will know how beautiful our Kashmir is and many people can come and see. This will help tourism industry to boost in Kashmir

Visited CDMX in July of 2019. Stayed for 5 days and honestly didn’t want to leave. I’m from NYC and CDMX was like a breathe of fresh air. Couldn’t believe how much cheaper and easier things were there. The food and culture is just bursted at me. I still haven’t been back but I didn’t realize how much big the country is so I most likely will go to another city but I’ll never forget how I felt for those 5days.

Went to southern Mexico, the first time leaving g the country in my life, this January. I was only able to spend 2 days there, but it was the most important 2 days of my life. I’d learned Spanish to a relatively advanced level before going, but being there took me to a whole new level in terms of how naturally and colloquially I spoke. I met a girl there who was a Chilanga, on vacation from CDMX, and spent my 2 days there with her, exploring the island with her. The best time of my life, changed the way I think about slog of things.

My wife and I visited Mexico City once July 2022. We are from a hot climate so The cool weather was great! Our food experience was good but had we stayed longer maybe would have been better. The cultural activities abound. We visited Xochimilco and it was packed with tourists & we met fun people and had a blast! We stayed in a nice hotel in the Zócalo which included a free walking tour & there happened to be a massive concert that evening. We definitely will return to visit! 👍

Ive been three times and once with my partner. Many good comments I think. It is truly a special place. i haven't really ventured into poorer neighborhoods ...yet. My Spanish is very limited, and I find people quite supportive of a small effort to use Spanish. Its interesting how individual people can be seen sweeping and cleaning, as I have observed elsewhere in Mexico. At the same time its clear to me,... that Mexico generally is behind many west countries in the area of garbage and recycling management. As for pollution if people mean cars,...yes huge problem, yet ...so many people biking and using public transport. I am from Canada and we live indoors for large periods,...so being in mexico anywhere is extremely delightful

In my experience it's worst in the winter, just sort of hangs over the city. Other seasons aren't as bad

It is, believe me... Worst part is you can really do nothing about it since 99% of pollution comes from big industries

Bruh, I've seen wild fires starting even when it rains... it's insane. From 2020 to 2023 it's become very alarming, you can even see it from your window.

It's not that alarming. Of course there's a lot to be done in this regard, but the pollution situation is actually comparable to what other big cities in the world suffer -and let's remember, actually, this is not only a 'big city', this is a MEGACITY with 22 million people moving around each day! I find that this aspect is so mentioned in the video because the city is extremely beautiful, exciting and interesting... so there are actually few things that one could hate about it (I'm not from CDMX, but I've lived here for 7 years, and I just love it 😍).

It's in the winter because IT DOES NOT RAIN. Once late spring rolls around and the rain begins the skies clear up.

Most Mexicans are mestizos, children of Native Americans with Spaniards, there is also an African component in small amounts. This applies to all Spanish-speaking countries with similar or different nuances

I'm curious about the Racism? Is it light skin vs dark skin, spanish vs native etc? Or is it against other minorities like blacks? - WW

Sadly we Mexicans are but we are so ashamed to admit it so you will only see Mexicans talk about "classism" instead. The thing is that it's only towards the indigenous native people (a.k.a. the ones who actually were there since the beginning while we modern "Mexicans" are just a mix of Spaniard and native indigenous (aztecs and mayans for example). But outside that, we aren't, specially with tourists, we are amazed to see people from other cultures, and about African Americans i think just being in Mexico they will make instant friends just by walking around, we like hip hop culture so much that is already impregnated into the Mexico culture, and in general happy reactions over African Americans, Asian, Europeans, etc... Sadly the indigenous thing goes all the way thru Latin America countries, but compared with a lot of them, they usually are less friendly and open minded about other "races". Greetings and México is waiting for you with open hands! 🇲🇽
@QuarianGhost
@QuarianGhost 4 ай бұрын
And just to specify, no, we don't care about light skin and dark skin, we don't see colors but humans (but sadly still seeing with other eyes the indigenous minorities, but it's more about the Indigenous traits and never about the color)
