Neither was I, then when I started in Starbucks I drank SO much coffee becuase it tasted so good with all of the sweet syrups!! However, now i no longer work there I don't drink coffee, more of a tea girl!! Yeah there are plenty of yummy non-coffee drinks, like the iced teas are so good, and starbucks and costa both do amazing iced frappucinos with no coffee too!! oohh thats nice, love costa!!!

I’m not too sure how it works for shift supervisors and overseas employees, but I know that within the UK you can transfer between stores, so it may be worth talking to your manager about potentially getting a transfer! If not, you can search online if there are any vacancies in your area, and drop a CV in in person!! All the best of luck!

That sounds phenomenal, that will look great on your CV! Just make sure that you give enough time to enjoy yourself and study so that you can get the grades you need! Working at Starbucks can be very tiring especially if you have lots of other stuff on! All the best

Do you know how they generally feel about facial piercings? Lip piercings to be more specific? I’ve seen people working at my local with stretched ears, but don’t think I’ve seen anyone with a lip piercing there. I’d love to work there though

I do not recall it ever being an issue while working there, a lot of my collegues had nose piercings which were no problem. worth asking though for sure, I dont see why it should be a problem! all the best of luck!

Oohh good question, there was around 1 week of training and paperwork and then you can start officially, although you keep learning for a long time! And for sure, I had that thought many times while I was scrubbing the toilets!!!

I have a question how did you work your school day with the work shifts/during the day does the manager work your shifts schedule with your school day? (I hope this question makes sense)

In terms of school, I would speak to your manager about this; if you let them know what hours you can work around school Starbucks are very flexible about what hours you can work around school!! At my store there was a girl who balanced school with starbucks and it worked well for her!

Glad you enjoyed!! The dress code has changed since i was there so its not as strict as just a black t shirt! I think it will vary between store and area, but i think its pretty much any top with black bottoms, but not too sure! Look after yourself! x
