Well as a pastry chef myself, I understand the struggle of baking a wedding cake from scratch until it becomes reality. A pastry chef should understand the value of making everything perfect from start to finish. Salute for her! And for those who are commented how dry her cake looks, you should try it yourself so you’ll know how it tastes. Cakes could be deceiving just by looking at it. Same goes to people. You judged too early just by looking at them even before you know ‘em :) Just saying guys. If you can’t be like her, at least just show some respect.

It's confusing to see all these comments about the cake being dry....you DO realize that's what cake looks like without icing, right? Especially that style of cake. While I don't know what it is it reminds me of banana bread somewhat, which does indeed look dry once it's no longer hot from the oven. It's just how the cake looks, and the crust on the outside isn't burned, it's browned. Cake WILL settle once it's out of the oven, which takes away it's "fresh from the oven" luster and look. The cake is fine, you're all just looking for something to point out. Anyway, the way the cake looked at the end was GORGEOUS!!! Not over the top, but it catches your eye! The slight off-colouration is a nice touch, not to mentioned the feathered white icing design!

People DO eat wedding cake! The problem is the photographer & reception organization.. The open bar, buffet or sit down dinner served by waitstaff The bride & groom's 1st dance, the father-daughter dance, the groom & mother, the bride & father-in-law dance, the father's toast, best man's toast, the maid of honor toast. Everybody dance. Three or four HOURS later, they cut the cake! for 'dessert'! IF cake is dessert, bride & groom should cut the cake 1st so wait staff can finish cutting & plating it so guests can have 'dessert' at their leisure. Most of the time guests are tired, tired of being dressed up, tired of waiting so they LEAVE

Oh wowwww! I bake cakes and decorate them myself but after I saw this video, I was like woww that's a real tough business! You know, you gotta make perfect slices and not thicker and thinner. You gotta bake it properly, it shouldn't be dense. It should taste fantastic cause that's what a cake is about. It has to look good and it has to be liked by the customer. I'm soo impressed😍

At first I was confused on why the dislike number was so high. At the end of the video... it's really hard not to hate the people that hit the dislike button. The woman loves her job. Whatever her personality, her past or future... she loves her job. She freaking good at it. She is constantly disatisfied which will always push her to continuously grow. Anyone who is continously disatisfied will have a huge contribution to the society. No matter what they do. This is the most wholesome video yet. This is how we should live life. Passionate, serious, and yet enjoying the process.
