Attended culinary school after high school and did 3 years in baking. Worked at countless bakeries and restaurants. But i will never forget working at this bakery in LA owned by a Jewish man. We made everything, and i mean everything from scratch. He was a wholesome man. He raised his son in the bakery. He would be rolling dough in one hand and carrying his son in the other. It was an awesome experience and i miss those times.

Yeah in reality, most often times the least fascinating and lamest answer is the correct one, how when a normal people sees this video they see the dedication and hard work and magicalness of all the handwork and movement and close up amazing textures of the bread that honestly is more unrealistically beautiful even more so than real life when it’s really just the camera and the whole art and process of “cienatography”

Admiral Aokiji btw I love one piece, but I kinda grown out of long 24 minutes of painstakingly sitting there and watching as little to nothing happen, the progression is too slow for my liking to put simple, but I still watch a lot of like montages where it’s basically watching the anime but sped up, tho it’s a lot shorter, I still prefer it, it covers the action and good parts I would say pretty well and makes me pretty satisfied and happy afterwards

I am a 13 year old and I recently started making my own bread. I absolutely love it, the process and just everything in general. It really shows me that time is crucial and I can even say that this helped me a lot with my sleep schedule. Waking up as early as 4am just to start making bread, hearing the birds chirp and the sun not even up. Complete silence (Unless I see a spider on my bowl) It's stress-relieving and I highly recommend baking your own bread. Baguettes are the best!

Yes that's true, looks so professional and actually it is but it's wrong. Spread the flour in that way is the best way for the bread but the worst for you own lungs. In a long run you will get asthma and other lung disease. And I'm telling that for experience. I'm still a baker but I cannot spread the flour like that because after a while I cannot breath normally anymore. Of course you will not see these symptom in a year or two but after a life doing this job you'll notice it.

I can't explain it. I don't have words to describe how much I love making bread. I went to engineering school and drop the last semester. That wasn't what I want it to do all my life. I changed to psychology and ended up going to grad school for clinical psychology. About two years ago I found out my Hebrew roots and I started making challah for shabat. I haven't stopped since and baking bread it's all I want to do. I enjoy the engineering skills in precision and science that goes around making a perfect bread: precise measurements, desired temperature, friction factor, starters, sourdough, ancient grains, milling your own grain, preferments, wild fermentation, I can go on, and on. And then, caring for that dough. Creating the workable dough takes a lot of caring. I love the feel in my hands when mixing. I love how it feels when it is developing gluten strength. I love every step into creating the brands. My favorite part is to see it grow in the oven. I fell like I'm giving birth every time a loaf comes out. It's like a baby for me. It's outermost passion and it overwhelms me how something so apparently vain can have such an impact in one's soul. My twin sister is a doctor. My older sister is a software programmer. Me, I want to make bread again, and again, and again. Baruj Hashem Yhwh who gives us all amazing talents to enjoy this transient life in our way back to Him.

My 1st full-time job as a young man/teen was baker. I HATED IT like I never hated anything up until then and ever since ! I hated the hours (midnight to 9 am)..the physical part..lifting 50kg or 25kg bags of flour and huge chunks of dough out of that machine is not fun when you do it at 4am.... I hated how my hair, clothes and eventually my WHOLE apartment smelled like cooked flour. I quit about 8 months on...that was the ONLY job I ever quit. Thus I can truly appreciate what this guy is doin'...it takes a CRAZY PASSION for it, trust me. To this day when I walk in front of a bakery and I smell that particular smell I run away across the street 😂

Before I started baking, my goal for several years was to be an engineer. Since I was 7 years old I guess? It runs in the family. When I was around 13 or 14, I just found myself doing pastries and baking some bread. I was like “ oh wow this has turned to be my hobby”. I realized it was all because of those apples in the fridge, I’m the only one who’s eating it. (No one bakes in our family.) I was like, “I can’t binge apple, maybe I’ll make an apple pie.” I jokingly told myself, lol like seriously I have never tasted apple pie before (I’m not an American so I guess that makes sense). Then later on I found myself searching for recipes and made it. Then I kept doing it for the next days, so I’m not the only one who’s eating apples. Then I tried different pastries. I just love the process of making it and I don’t know, even though there’s so much work to be put in this I never complained about it. And now it was my passion. So yeah, I’m thanking those apples who happen to be in the right time at the right place. Haha

@allyrome71474 жыл бұрын
Andrew Maksimovich xD, you can do both. Like take engineering in college then become a home baker or take a one year course after you graduated. Other than baking, I also have a bunch of other passion such as writing, arts and playing several musical instruments (guitar, violin, lyre, ukulele, flute). It’s pretty hard to keep all of them but I can manage since I love doing this stuff. So if you really love those two, pursue both of them, who knows what life might have in store for you. Goodluck!❤️
