I’ve owned hamsters a few years and my one suggestion is that if you make diy toys DO NOT USE HOT GLUE!! They WILL chew at any exposed little globs, which is hard to avoid when making things. Instead use wood glue on your popsicle stick creations ❤️ also appropriate wheel size is so crucial to their health

I have gerbils lol Also: never buy a hamster at A pet store I always try to adopt because pet stores just encourage rodent mills which are really bad where they keep hamsters and gerbils and other rodents in overcrowded cages I don’t really feed them as much and the mother she just gets breed as much as possible until she can’t have babys anymore and they don’t really care weather tumors or other kind of illnesses run in that particular family rodents they just only care about selling them and making more money and I just want to let you know this so When buying them you’ll be more aware the best place to buy them is from breeders, adoption or rescues @planetfishness please notice me

Okay I just wanted to say some stuff as being a hamster owner for a very long time I can say that you were dropped should not be fed to your hamster at all because hamsters it should never have milk it is honestly not good and if you do give them to your hamster if I should be at the most once a year Oso yes while the heights that you were stating are fine a lot of syrians could never fit into those hides so I would go for like the medium size and flying saucers are safe as long as you get the right size for your hamster but I do recommend oh so having a wheel and final thing is I would have liked if you added a little more cage Variety in there like the Ikea detolf prevue pet products prevue cage

Hamster balls for robo dwarfs are fine if they have enough holes but not small enough where they can get limbs stuck. I got mine personally for when I need to clean the cage. But also on rugs they are harder to roll which will also prevent injuries

I have a 2 month old long haired Syrian who I just got 2ish weeks ago, She’s in a bin cage right now which is about 25Gal. I’ll be moving her to a detolf with rainbow theme accessories and white Kaytee bedding in a week and a half. Her favorite treat is broccoli which I give her a small piece every other day. She’s on a seed diet but I’m slowly transferring her to a more natural and healthy diet (Seed, Insect, Few pellets, Veggies). She wakes up at about 6-7Pm every night. An hour after she wakes up I take her out and let her play around on my bed for awhile. So far her favorite thing to do is burrow. If I, A child can be educated and give my hamster proper care then anybody can. ❗️Dont Impulse Buy Pets! Hamsters, Fish, reptiles etc. DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE❗️
