Been waiting to hear your views on the new cure album so hope you enjoy it and I will check out tomorrows video. For me...being an older cure fan who has been into them since the faith album I loved every note of it. Beautifully crafted sogs, very along the lines of disintigration minus the pop songs so it was goosebumps all the way. The only thing i wish is that they used real strings instead of the synth, the string parts pay a large part in the album and I started to find the sound of the synth a bit grating after a while, that is probably down to my age. I would say if the album featured real strings then it would be my immediate fav album out of a cd collection of thousends. But as i say on balance a perfect cure album. best wished from London UK.

Another great vid. Of all the albums mentioned I picked up the new Skillet album. Have been a fan of that band for years. Overall a great album that fits well with everything they’ve put out over the past 10 years or so.

That's a great cure cd 💿 I picked mine up from my local record store and opened it up and played the cd 💿 in my car from leaving the record store. Thanks for mentioning about their new album. I haven't listened to the cure in so long sounds good hope you enjoy it .

Vinnie was on creatures as a writer & main guitar player on most songs. As well as main song & guitar player on lick it up. He co-wrote & played on varied kiss albums earlier under the Cubano name. & was brought back to record & write on revenge in 92 on some best tracks: unholy!! & more. Thanks. Vinnie consider one best kiss song writers,too. Sarge ps. My fave kiss music began w/ 82 creatures through 2012 monster. Kiss as metal band. Pss. Cos 97: was heavy & dark & has great songs!!!!: I know not your pop flavor. I bought multi. Copies back then trully great. The revenge/ alive iii was great era for the band. Revenge & creatures near top for me!!

Listened to the new Cure three times, twice in its album format and I actually watched the streaming concert - 31 songs, 3 hours long! It was actually a special triple show, first they played the new album in full, then stuff mostly from Head on the door and onwards, then Best of Seventeen seconds and then their pop hits from 83-87 give or take. The only classic albums which weren't covered were Faith, Pornography and Bloodflowers. I actually anticipated at least the title cuts from each one of them, but it was still a brilliant show - they gave it their all. Mesmerizing performance

Probably not your cup of tea, but I wonder if Liz Phair is going to release a new album anytime soon? I know a lot of people hated her S/T pop album from 2003, but I kind of liked some of the songs on the album, especially her biggest crossover hit to date "Why Can't I?" Definitely not classic early 90s Liz, but it definitely broadened her music horizons.

Brenden, I don't recall you talking about the Deluxe Box set of Alice Cooper's "Muscle of Love" (2 CD's and a Blu-ray/QUADIO as well as a 2 lp pink vinyl set) available only on the Rhino website. It's a fantastic release and NOT to be missed if you're a fan of the original Alice Cooper group.

I wonder if those 2 Cure songs could appear on the next album. Robert has said that another Cure album is basically finished and a third is being worked on. Or perhaps those 2 songs were written and recorded so long ago he just wanted to move on.

‘It Can Never Be The Same,’ ‘Step Into The Light,’ and ‘Another Happy Birthday’ are all currently slated for the next album. Another potential song title is ‘Bodiam Sky.’
