Safety is another big factor. If you crash far from shore, you want something that keeps you warm for the swim/ rescue.

Hatty is somewhat tough. The real key is to have friends with driveways and portable ac units that charge with a car charge 😂

The wetsuit prices are getting ridiculous! Up here in Canada I have to spend about $400 to get a mid-range wetsuit. Given every other gears price I'm not sure how long I can last in this sport despite my love for it. Good video tho bro!

Yikes! Tough when it’s cold too. Michigan was always rough in the cold months. If you find a good suit, keep repair goo on the ready. I’ve had some suits that I kept alive for years with small repairs. I know guys who ride in February with decade old suits. Trick is to hit even small nicks fast. - Rygo

Sick Video. I’m on the fence bt 4/3 - 3/2. I live in south Florida and it does get 🥶 . Had a kitemare in the fleoda keys once… offshore wind, no one out , wind died fml. After a 3 hr sesh had a 4 hr swim … was super scary . My pos wet suit came unzipped in the back ( every session ) I’m spending the extra $$$ on a premium front zip this year
