Agreed. A big part of the reason is Norseman's use of _thick_ cord, making everything much easier to see than in most videos. 🙂

Thank you so much. I've become quite proficient at tying the clove, spar, and constrictor hitches. My problem was I learned by trying them on a horizontal bar, and I was having difficulty translating them to a vertical object. Sounds silly, I know. I watched your video and it all just fell into to place. BTW, I've watched a lot of clove hitch tutorials and yours is to only one I've found to demonstrate the hitch tied to a vertical post.
