I came across seeing your video suggested on KZbin. I've wanted to share my legal career with other students for a long time, but I don't know how to start. Thank KZbin for creating this platform to connect people together. I found what I need here and feel motivated by your shares! Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Hi Gordon thank you for the videos and information on your new platform, which I found very useful and inspiring. I wonder if you can do a video or sharing on some of the current online short courses from Oxbridge or some prominent Unis, they are on various topics. I wonder if you think it will be a good add on to experience as aspiring lawyers? What kind of knowledge or experience one should focus on if one wants to progress from a small practice to a more bigger platform? Thank you for your time!

I think it depends on how practical the contents are - if it's a course on private equity or M&A etc, that might add values to you

Nice video, thanks Gordon. I was just wondering if practice trainees get paid very little? How do trainees usually survive with such a low remuneration? Also, as a Chinese person living in the UK, has the racial discrimination intensified in recent months based on your personal experience?

Thanks for the comment! In fact at most city law firms, they pay trainees a pretty decent amount of salary considering it is a graduate entry level position - you can check out legal cheek to look at those salaries. I would say compared to other places, the situation in London is less serious as there are also different kinds of people living here. But I do think that it does exist from time to time, though I am grateful that I didn’t experience racism in an explicit manner ever since I have moved to the U.K.
