2:10 Reminds me of the time I was explaining subduction and plate tectonics to a friend using two pizzas. When I slid one pizza under the other it formed a... *Marinara* trench. ;)

Marinara is a pizza with seafood on. Isn't it?
@kintokisa7 жыл бұрын
+rawstarmusic marinara is a kind of tomato sauce...
@rawstarmusic7 жыл бұрын
kintokisa Seems to be right. It only says tomato sauce, garlic, oregano and mozzarella. Some places I've come across adds some stuff. In Rom this pizza is called Napoletana and in Napoli it is called Romana. I stayed away from it cause I don't like creatures that creeps on the sea bottom. So Marinara, Napoletana and Romana is the same thing, pizza with garlic which has nothing to do with marine life.

That episode wasn't nearly harsh enough on Cameron. I worked for the company who made the communications system to allow the submarine to communicate with the surface, and while I never met the guy personally I heard enough stories about how he behaved to know he is a complete and total asshole with a superiority complex. When he was arguing with an expert over something he obviously didn't understand he was told what he was asking for was impossible and that nobody on the planet could do that - he got angry at being told this, and then started to compare his net worth to everyone else and threaten them. I wish they killed him in some horrible way, kinda like they did to Bieber.

So I could expect to find Vegeta training to surpass Goku in the Marianna's Trench, because of the pressure?

Vegeta was training in a high-_gravity_ environment, not a high-pressure environment. The pressure probably increased as a result of the gravity, but the two scenarios are very different.

lasarith2 I think Trace meant that we have recently discovered liquid water on Mars and suspect with confidence that there might be water rich soil under the dusty surface all over the planet so this makes it a perfect environment for micro organisms. So I don't think he meant there IS life on Mars, I think he meant to say life can survive on a desolate planet such as Mars so why not our super wet oceans.
