What Living in Oceanside CA is Really Like

This is a good analysis of Oceanside- refreshing to see an honest assessment of an area. I wouldn’t say Oceanside is that quiet but I guess it depends on where you live

Thank you for that comment! Quiet is a subjective term and definitely depends on which part of the city.

I wouldn’t choose it- it’s a bit scruffy, housing is dense and some buildings aren’t that nice looking. Oceanside still has problems with gangs. We live in Fallbrook and it takes forever to get to Oceanside- the 76 highway is slow as molasses. Not sure the schools are good either😝🙃

Oceanside coastal is the meth capital of coastal north county from Mission Ave to Wisconsin St there are meth dealers/houses on every other street. OPD narcotics and city councilman Joyce have abandoned the residents and made this area a safe zone for meth dealers/houses the agencies and people that are supposed to keep our area safe are covering for the meth dealers. Under councilman Joyce and OPD narcotics supervision the meth dealers have taken over the neighborhood there are literally open-air meth markets think twice before you decide to move to Oceanside it is only getting worse.

Is Joyce up for re-election in November? There are definitely improvements that could be made on many levels. Surprisingly enough, Joyce lives in that area you discuss in your comment.
