I find that weight 3 in the core, 4 drops comet and 3 drops stardust do something magic to an rs3 m 2020 especially with the extra magnets. I have also crossed the Comet with Celeritas and had some super cool but very unique results there too.

@@dontflyspirit6535 The Stardust and Comet is definitely a combo I use when I want a quick burst of speed. Usually I use the Cubicle Celeritas setup using weight 3 instead of lubicle black. Ill break that in for 2 days and then add 2 drops of Speed Cube Shops Comet. Thats the magic. But bear in mind, I tend to like a tighter cube with a glidey, crunchy, slick feel. I dont care for gummy. I like a fairly tight fast cube. The magnets are moderately strong if youve added all of them along with a tight spring and click set up. I use the same lube set up on the wrm maglev as well.

Honestly I don't really like martian since it gives the gummy feeling which to me not very likeable. Don't get me wrong it's an excellent lube but I like uncontrollable cubes so yea.

I would say that Nebula has more control than Martian and Galaxy, but that is just my oppinion. I like Nebula the most (of those which I have: Martian, Galaxy and Nebula)

I lubed my old 3x3 (I was testing) with some random Vaseline(It’s called Cetaphil) and it worked perfectly, but first I had to remove the old lube(Actual Vaseline) I dipped it water and froze it for 3 hours and cracked the ice open and then cube became ore bad then a rubik’s brand cube,I put the new lube in and it turns like a boss and it decreased my turning sound too!

I personally like Nebula (5 drops)and StarDust (6 drops) in my cubes (along with Weight 3) because it gives that speedy feel and also is very controllable. I've tried Martian (as Candy Cane) and it's ok for 3x3 but I'd recommend it for 2x2 more. Lunar, Never tried. Cosmos doesn't affect my turning until AUF of finishing a M move and where I have to use a bit more force to get the turn started Galaxy, Never tried. Comet, It's a lube that if I didn't use Nebula and StarDust, I would use. Solar: Why you leave out :(

For me, Martian is a middle ground lube that I use when I'm not sure what I want. Lunar is nice for big cubes. I don't like Stardust before it dries up and hardens, but then it adds a nice touch. Comet is awesome at adding substance to loose cubes. Cosmos adds control and probably shouldn't be used as the only lube. And I use Galaxy or Nebula if I want to add some gumminess to a very fast cube. The fastest lube ever though is Lubest XMT 10. I even switched to it as my big cube lube because it's faster than Lunar+Stardust. In my Valk 5M, I even use XMT 10 + Stardust.

@@pumpkinut5314 With Lunar and Stardust, you have one fast silicone lube and one water-based lube that doesn't make much of a difference. With Lunar and Martian, you have two different silicone lubes. Will last you longer :)

It depends on the cubes natural speed. Galaxy is probably my favourite overall but now you can slow cubes down via the hardware so I am moving more toward martian, lunar and stardust for their silky, plush properties. Also I like to blend them one drop at a time depending on what it needs after break in.

I'd say it's safe to go with the V3 pioneer. The new RS3M V5 feels great. it is super loose, light, and flexy. The YS3M has very short stems, which, in combination with its very strong magnets, has a tighter, blocky, and high-friction feeling, giving better control with going fast- I recommend loosening screws a bit and using compression 2-3. They say the V3 is similar to the YS3M yet different. It's like the YS3M but more flexy, and compared to the non-UV YS3M I have the UV V3 is probably the perfect middle ground and combo of the two YS3M and RS3M V5. Sorry if it's a bit late, but I hope this helps in future purchases. I have the RS3M V5 ballcore UV and the YS3M maglev and am planning on buying the Tornado V3 Pioneer as my next purchase :) ...and the 20 magnet core WRM V9/10 after that... and the 20 magnet core YS3M UV.. I have an addiction.
