When Barghest said that she hates Melusine because it's a matter of personality, It probably refers to their ideology. Barghest believes that the strong should protect the weak while Melusine thinks that the weak should fear the strong. Melusine simply thinks herself as the strongest and therefore belittles humans calling them "A creature with low survival rate" Although that is the case, Melusine does like people who "Protect those weaker than herself" but she inteprets it herself as "The weak should follow the strong" (This is probably because she likes to mock Barghest) Their rivalry might be to figure out who's the strongest, but deep down the two of them are just lonely

Plus we have to remember that their motivations could not be further from one another, in one hand you have Barghest who was trying her utmost to overcome her evil nature and to use her power for the betterment of the weak and her loved ones while aspiring to be a noble figure and an example; meanwhile Melusine only reveled in whatever Aurobitch wanted, she even massacred an entire clan just because Aurora felt like it, and she knew she was wrong but didn't care because the only thing she cared about was Aurobitch, the world be damned.

Her lines for many of her acquaintances are actually very sad. :( She simpathizes with why Baobhan Sith acts the way she does, she feels utter regret for having betrayed Morgan during LB6 (to the point she doesn't even dare look her in the eye) and she mistook PHH Percival with the one she raised in the Fairy Realm (this last one was just cruel, man!). The only one more or less comedical was the Barghest one. XD Melusine, I don't think being called a "cute large-breed doggy" is what she wants to be called, y'know. I mean, put it this way: _how would you feel if you were called a cute, little metal_ *wyvern?*

@@jakealucard1873 It seems it is working for the "active warfare fight", while in Chaldea we can bring her back to humanoid form with our tech and spiritron partice shenanigans, her 3rd ascenz is a terminal to her dragon form and through it we can go in both directions. Chaldea summoning system is fishy thus we can partly have asces to almost every part of each servant existence (as long as the said spirit allows it).

Ok, since I'm seeing quite a fair amount questions about the entire 'Barghest not liking Melusine' topic. It's actually if not mostly confusion on Melusine's part and a little bit on Barghest's part. Barghest, for the vast majority of the case, merely wants to spar or have a full battle (read competition) with her to see who is the strongest Fae Knight in Chaldea, after all, back in LB6, Morgan stated that Melusine was the strongest among the Knights. It's not so much as their Saint Graph origins having initial problems with each other. It's less so that Barghest has issues with Melusine's attitude on virtues and values, particularly in this section, at best she can tolerate her and understands somewhat why Melusine behaves the way she does, as shown in Morgan's Valentine scenario, at worst, Melusine's personality can come off the wrong way albeit nowhere near as bad as Sith's commentary can go. In Melusine's case, she has no clue that Barghest is just that desperate to challenge her in a friendly challenge to see who is the strongest between them now that they're both in Chaldea. This misunderstanding on her part results in her coming to the conclusion that Barghest hates her, which is nowhere near the truth. Melusine trying to cheer up and 'apologize' to Barghest with the way she thought was best wasn't helping the latter's case at all, if anything. So yeah, Melusine simply couldn't figure out that Barghest just wants to have a good battle against her to see who's the strongest between them. Probably not helped if Barghest wasn't being completely clear on what she wanted to do if Melusine wasn't actually listening.
