Other similar types: Rojak Singapore = more processed items in it like sausage, fake crab meat, etc. Gado gado = Indonesian unique style with keropok and tempe. Pechal = Javanese style, without all those fritters, more vegetables in it. All using peanut based sauce, different taste though.

Rojak is literally campuran (mixture). So we have rojak buah (fruit mix), pasembur, etc. Usually served with specific sauce. We also have bahasa rojak (languange mix) 😉😂

Hello, lovely couple KimandWong. Pasembur is a subset of rojak. Rojak is a generic term for many kinds of ingredients mixed in a sauce So anything fruit with sauce is called rojak buah. Pasembur is rojak mamak and so on.
