2 things about this pay per view are pretty much god tier. 1. John Cena actually took this shit serious instead of just losing and then laughing about it. 2. The pay per view peaks up to the main event. The ladder matches and everything are awesome and then it just hits that high note with Punk’s entrance and when he won the title. God. It’s phenomenal. I remember watching Raw each week and MITB that year and just remember Punk just stagnating when he jumped to Raw after his incredible rivalry with Rey Mysterio. The pipebomb came out of nowhere and it set the wrestling world on fire! There are few moments in wrestling that are truly special and the feeling around them can't be duplicated. This whole storyline has got to be the best thing WWE has ever done or will ever do. AEW is great but it can't top this time in wrestling.
