For me, personally, it was the fact that both men were pretty much old men at this point who got their primes behind them and that still had enough skill and power to deliver a great match. I don’t know why, but if done correctly, seeing 2 old men fight for their last chance of success can be really awesome! It reminded me a bit of the final battle of Metal Gear Solid 4.

Hey dude. I got to say you're such an awesome storyteller in all things wrestling. To me I've been a fan for such a long time. Looking back at the two-part WrestleMania matches between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels both undergone their paths to setting records, accomplish winning championships, main event matches, even creating WrestleMania moments. On the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania has some symbolism of Heaven vs Hell. Both future Hall of Famers and legends of the Attitude Era set the stage for one epic match of the century which to me I consider it the greatest match in WrestleMania history. WM 25 was a cherry on top of the cake and I watched it at age 18 I literally jumped for joy. Fast forward next year, Shawn Michaels made the challenge in a rematch against the Deadman. This time the streak vs career. If I thought Ric Flair's career ended by HBK was emotional, the Undertaker took to the limits to Tombstone Michaels as hard jumping the mat down as he did back at SummerSlam 1994. Woe for HBK, 18-0 for the Phenom. WrestleMania is the stage where legends are Immortals and careers end to the unworthy. Undertaker's Streak has been considered by many or few as the ultimate prize aside of a championship. Its that constant mystery of who is going to end the Undertaker's undefeated Streak at WrestleMania are those listed to be superstar elite and sure-fire Hall of Famers for future talent to do the unthinkable every once a year. A highlight to remember.

For me it will allways be Mania 26! Best professional wrestling match ever. Period! It had it all: the story, everything on the line, the wrestling, all the moves and that heads up slap by Shawn followed by the most devastating tombstone ever! I remember watching this live, it was at a time I was figuring out wrestling and the moves and the kayfabe and selling of moves but when I saw that tombstone I literally jumped up and had to quote JR “bah gahwd he killed him!” It was so epic man!
