You know what I realize is that in regeneration the clothes don't change at all and David Tennant is taller than Jodie Whittaker. So it would've looked really small which would've been funny, but still

It's funny that the BBC are using a completely different costume of the majority of the Fifteenth Doctors promotion, probably a better outfit I'd give a 9 out of 10

I think some good outfits of 12 that look great and do stand out has to be one of the velvet looks from series 10. The distressed sweater does turn heads as well is the undone cuffs, as small details as they may be

I'm always surprised that people think 13's outfit is feminine! I thought it was pretty gender neutral, so what RTD said was a shock to me as well. I'm a pretty feminine woman, so I was kinda hoping she'd wear a skirt for her run as the doctor because I think it would have looked badass ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ still an awesome and iconic look just like the rest!

I’m not happy if that’s the reason we don’t get an explanation for why 14 regenerated with his outfit already on, I’m sure people would be fine with David Tennant in Jodie’s outfit, in fact it would be kind of a slay

9: wearing black is extremely tacky. its like the bellbottoms of the 21st century. terrible design. total fail 10: id say the second tackiest outfit after all black is the "modern suit". as i always say, its a suit for people who hate suits. really bad. utterly forgettable which is a shame because tennant is a great doctor. 11: the tweed jacket version is barely passable. the purple one is really really good. its a suit but nothing modern about it. theres so many things you can do with a suit that being stuck in modernity is terrible. so best one so far. 12: when he wears it with the tie as in the Orient Express, this blows everyone else out of the water. when he doesnt wear a tie, it looks like hes trying to be trendy and modern and its lame as hell. 13: well this is a disaster. its obviously political in nature. once the politics of the day fall out of favor, this costume will get binned as the worst in the shows history. 14: the exact same problem as 10. 15: this is really bad. its trying to be a modern suit again by removing the tie and the dress shirt, so immediately it has huge problems. but i find myself asking "who is this doctor for?" its like he is a black man but also posh. there really isnt an audience for that. pretty much all of the popular black actors are tough and urban, but 15 dresses like he coming from extreme wealth and refined. i suspect what is going on here is that the TRUE main character of this era will be Ruby. Ruby will definitely sell product. I think 15 will wind up being her sidekick in some fashion. This is a Ruby show.

In "Destiny of the Daleks" Romana wore a feminine version of the Doctor's outfit. His was in browns and autumn colors. Hers was in dusty pink and off-white.

I wish the modern Doctor costume would be more alien and outlandish like some of the classic Doctors. Not coated in question marks or a rainbow factory. More Edwardian or Victorian styles to the Doctor. Ncuti outfits follow that style of standing out and adventurous.

Youve earned a subscriber and fan, you forgot to add that 9 with his outfit he comes immediately after the Time War, he is the PTSD Doctor running away from everything that made him him in that incarnation, and in the context of the shows coming back, the 9th Doctor was present during the height of shows like Buffy, so in the context of wider pop-culture, its perfect for the time
