I confessed to a guy that I liked him a couple months after meeting him. He didn't feel the same way but I said I was fine with continuing as friends. Not that this always happens, but we became really close after the rejection and he actually ended up developing feelings for me after a couple months because I respected the aftermath and showed that I could handle rejection. He admired that I was brave enough to take that risk and it goes to show how far taking a chance can go.

the higher status a man has (wealth, social status, money) will often times be rejected for the perceived initial value he has. in other words she's virtue signaling to other men saying you need to better. doing all of this to increase her market value. this man is fairly attractive and in good shape but no doubt there are men with higher status, which makes him a perfect stepping stone for her to latch onto a better man.

I showed him that I wanted this relationship and that I wasn't afraid of being hurt even when I knew he was about to end things between us. It was one of the best breakups I've ever had. I have no regrets, and it made it easier to get over him because I knew that I had done everything I could. Now I feel strong and confident in myself and what I have to offer to someone else. This is great advice and something I will continue to do in future relationships. Great video 👍🏻

Something I embraced long time ago. I decided I would just be brave and live fully for myself... rejection is not what we think it is it has nothing to do with our worth. It is truly precious. ❤

Rejection should be taken as a positive thing. Let me explain. Rejection is humbling. We learn why we get rejected so in the future we can look at ourselves what we can improve on. Also it does not leave you hanging or wondering what if. The greatest mistake we can do to ourselves is uncertainty. You can never be happy being uncertain about things. Take a chance & never leave things incomplete. Just like anything else in life. Unfinished will remain unfinished & there is no around it.

That’s great advice how will we really get anywhere if we don’t know. It funny that I watched this video today because just last night a man I know who has a strong interest in me, and I am a bit shy but I try to show interest back but I’m not sure what is exactly appropriate, this man posted something on instagram that he had done and that I really loved. I sent a message to him telling how proud I was of his actions and why, then I finished the message by saying “I love you mate” which is absolutely true. When he saw it he put a heart next to it. I know I have really put myself out there as I dearly love this man, but because of his public position, even though he lives just around the corner, he needs to keep his personal details very private for government security reasons. I have met him on and off in public and had a couple of catch ups locally arranged through his office. We have another official catchup in 2 weeks and I am going to ask him if we can catch up informally and could he trust me with his private phone number. But he sure knows now that I have strong feelings for him and we both know we get on like a house on fire.

@princessvanessa8736 жыл бұрын
+CatLady71 Oh sorry to hear that. Do yourself a favour go out and have fun with your friends, meet new ppl, fill your time with activities you enjoy. At work only talk to him if you have to but only about work related matters. No socialising with him. If you can take a vacation helps to get perspective too. You deserve better than him, if he's not interested you now know sooner rather than later. Maybe he'd have hurt you more later on. I know it's hard but he's not really worth you love or time. You will move on, in time you'll feel better, when you're ready start dating again. Stay strong stay positive talk to a professional if you're struggling, like I am, it helps. Feel better soon👸👑

Yes, vulnerability is beautiful. An ex lover taught me this. I’ve used it ever since. Sometimes I’ve been hurt but never have I had a doubt 😉

Thank God someone finally giving great advice!! No game playing. Be real. It's not a rejection. It's just not your person at that time. But tell the truth on how you feel. And let it go. Never have to wonder. That's way better than not knowing.

Date an Aries girl...we are risk takers. I always make the vulnerable moves if I like a guy. With great risk comes great reward!!

You are spot on with your message. Be open, be vulnerable, be real. It is ok if they don’t want to be with you. Now you know and you also know that you were true to yourself and did all you can do. No regrets.

i LOVE this video. I think that’s what I needed. And it’s so fucking true. Sincerity is everything and shows the truth, while pride leaves everything undone. People should understand that. I think I understood it now. Having no regret is better than living with doubts. Thanks for your words, you’ve been brilliant. 🙏❤️

Wow, I did the exact thing the second woman wanted to do. I literally told my ex(we broke up a month ago),in our last convo, after he hadn't contacted me for 3 days after a quasi-fight, 'If you don't know whether you want to be with me, I will decide for you... I don't want to be with someone who isn't sure whether he wants to be with me. " I regret it... It was my ego talking. But it was a right decision. I would have never been able to go back( to how it had been earlier in the relationship) after I had realized he was uncertain about us.

At one point we had even lived together tho, and we were in a long distance relationship the entire time (except for living together for 4 months last year). I always traveled to his town to see him.

This is SO TRUE!! I had been talking/hanging out with a guy & one day he said he didn’t see a future for us. I took it well, I was hurt but I’m not going to beg him to stay if there’s nothing there. This was back in January. He wanted to continue to hang out but i said it probably wasn’t a good idea, and I went my merry way. I knew if we had kept in contact, it would just end up with me being hurt & being led on. I haven’t reached out, and let him live his life. Now he’s coming back around basically begging me to hang out with him. He said I was so understanding, confident and kind. I guess he went on a date and the girl threw a drink at him & it made him realize how good he had it with me. I told him I moved on, I’ve been dating and now he’s in his feelings and smothering me with attention. He hasn’t taken rejection well and it’s SUCH a turn off!!!

Thank you for supporting this message. Vulnerability is a strength. If you want a man to know it as a strength in him, and to open up to you over time, you must step into that fire first. Show him how brave a person can be. It's for you, not him. He will recognize this, if he's healthy, and see what a courageous, sovereign soul you are. Vulnerability is the sign of an open, trusting, humbled, honest person.

Thank you so much for this video mark, often times I get scared of being rejected, maybe I get too protective, I try to avoid getting hurt but the truth is I still get hurt at the end. Now I know, its not me its them and I don't have to be scared anymore. Rejection is part of life and I won't have to worry about it when it comes..

Mark I really appreciate your personal story here too. It’s so important for people to be brave sometimes! If you have an anxious attachment style you can kind of get hooked on these “not knowing where you stand” situationships. But being brave and risking rejection is so much more healthy and the first step to finding the RIGHT relationships!

Fear always is the biggest obstacle I have, maybe we all have but once I embrace that, not trying to be liked by everyone, I feel happier. I am very happy to watch this video and you are a very brave man. I don't understand why she rejected you, awesome guy but I believe the vulnerability is the key to be happy and have a healthy relationship. Thank you so much for making this video. Loved it!

Some people were rejected so painfully that they didnt deserve one more rejection or should ever handle this. If you feel you are going to be rejected disapare first..no pain..its not a risk you just feel it. Dont be desperate!
