To know he isn’t a player and is stable and reliable. Highly attractive since women want a no-nonsense guy and we are geared with long-term ideas and not a man who wants a casual fling, only to get your heart trashed.

This might sound counter intuitive, but being able to hold her to a standard in a way that is powerful but not aggressive. There is only one person that I know that does this, and it scrambles my brain. If I were having mood swings, he would be unfazed by it and either calmly walk up to me, turn my head to look me in the eye and tell me to behave myself, or he would be quite charming but strong with it and it just turns me to jelly.

It’s very attractive when a man doesn’t rush things physically and always asks for consent for everything, especially when dating. I feel objectified and undervalued when men seem to care more about getting to know my body, rather than me as a person.

I love it when a man is in his masculine energy: decisive, full of purpose, direction, intention, and action. Bonus points if it highlights his physical strength. I dated a guy once who got a flat tire on the way to meet me for coffee. I offered to bring him an iced coffee, thinking he might be stressed. As I watched him change his tire, I was blown away by his physical strength, ability to take action, knowledge of what to do, and how something that would have sent my emotions spiraling didn’t seem to rattle him.

Sorry to come across sounding strange, I've experienced a unusual behaviour from a group of others who introduced lots of confused situations n deceptions onto my life esp a kind of mind game type thing when others were exchanging identities n hiding out as so and so sending what seemed to be valid sourced youtubes with altered pics of the underrated well known persons using some kind of picture face melding with more than 1 persons face even. Some things sent to my phone contained threats to my well being
I’m attracted to a man who is a good listener and doesn’t judge when you need someone to listen, even if they don’t fully understand everything. That also creates a safe space and a sense of empathy.

Emotional safety is number 1 for me, I need this from a man! I was a little surprised to hear it was on the men's list, but I guess it makes sense!
@Markrosenfeld2 жыл бұрын
Jess I would say EVEN more so (in general) in this direction. Men have so little room to move emotionally in most of their lives and are historically more 'timid' and 'shamed' for their vulnerable emotions, thst they're at an even higher 'flight risk' because we've been exposed to so much sensitivity in this area. Not to mention, any man who has been trained to be scared of triggering his mum/ex girlfriend can feel very (emotionally) unsafe bringing up honest things with his girlfriend. Real challenges for men to overcome in this area!

Hiking, working on our old classic car, running errands etc. And yes we do have our guy time/girl time. I just want more of him. He works away all week, we do not live together. What some of the men that I meet don't seem to realize that while it is okay for them to want certain things (such as sex), it is also okay for us to want or expect certain things, like someone who remembers our birthday and brings us a small, but thoughtful gift. I was told by one man that I didn't have the right to expect this because "men don't do that," yet men have the right to expect sex all the time. So we don't have the right to want what we want but they do?
