vaati is not the best in lore but is a good introduction, also have a good narration nearly a audiobook XD, another thing people complain like aloot is "the map is empty", and yes maybe the density of enemies is not like in other game but it is fine its is after a big purge not many things still alive, like you say aloot of other games just fill up the areas with aloot of memeanless things or mini encounters that have no any sense to do, o mark the map with miniquest that popout for every step like in witcher 3 so many sidequest the game was not more about explore but complete a checklist, you can parry some attack for rahdan XD or bigshield and poke, or status up builds, and i dont think they gonna touch rahdan
